Our 330 acre property backs onto the beautiful D'Aguilar National Park and is still heavily treed with some cleared areas for cattle grazing. The property has many interesting native birds, animals and trees for you to discover. There are many walking tracks both gentle and steep within the property. Approximately 2 hours from Brisbane CBD. Either stay in our popular cabin for those creature comforts, or camp next to our creek bed areas and enjoy the serenity. There is No cellular service around the camping areas to help you unwind!

Welcome to GG's Ranch & Retreat Camping area, a unique farm escape on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Is is the perfect place to base yourself and explore all the beauty that the Sunshine Coast Hinterland has to offer. We currently only offer one campsite so you will have plenty of space and privacy during your stay. There is a number of walking tracks on the property and a large billabong where you can enjoy swimming and other water activities. There are Geese who often visit the property who you are welcome to greet and feed. We also have an abundance of bird and wildlife who visit the property and have even been lucky enough to spot a Platypus in the billabong. Our property is home to a number of Horses and we offer Horse based activities for an additional cost (see our extras) so you can meet them and learn some basic horse riding skills. We are just 15 minutes from the popular Eumundi Markets and 30 minutes to Noosa main beach.  The site has power and water for your use but you are required to supply your own camping toilet (Please note if you arrive without a toilet you will be asked to leave) and remove all rubbish waste on departure. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash and under owners control at all times. Campfires are allowed in the fire pit provided and firewood is available at a small additional cost. Please keep your site clean and tidy and respect the natural environment and animals at all times.

The lodge consist of two double beds, a set of bunks and a fold out futon in lounge room. The lodge has a fully equipped toilet, shower and basin which consist of a hot water system. Spend your time enjoying all types of water sports - kayaking, relaxing on a floaty or just a lovely swim- and a spot of fishing as we restock the dam every couple years. Some of the most popular catches are Golden Perch (or Yellowbelly) and Australian Bass with Silver Perch also stocked in the dam. I flew from Sydney to spend time with my brother and dad as they both love on the Sunshine Coast. We had booked another place prior and it got cancelled on us the day before as they had doubled booked. My brother and I frantically looked online trying to find a place, when we came across this one. It was even better than what we had originally booked! The place was so beautiful and beyond what we imagined. On arrival Anthony, Cass and Winnie (they're cute dog) greeted us and showed us around. They were all so friendly and made us feel at home straight away. The adjoining cottages were perfect, the land was lush and green with many trees and the lake was full of wonderful birdlife. At night we all sat by the fire, eating dinner and listening to my dad's favourite songs. In the day we went on adventures and came home to relax in the wonderful cottages. Sitting on the veranda with a cuppa and taking in the misty mornings was a great way to start the day too. Thanks for having us, we definitely made some great memories that will be cherished forever!

What a gem of a spot for a couples weekend away! The bed was super comfortable, and I slept like a dream. The cabin was a good distance from any other homes, which made it feel like our own peaceful retreat. The birdwatching was a real highlight, with water birds gathering at the billabong and amazing black cockatoos flying overhead in the afternoons. Such a special place to reconnect with nature and each other. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and soak up the serenity!

It’s a lovely place. Quiet and peaceful. I had a good time disconnected and reenergised. I travelled alone and arrived late at night. Anthony and Cas check on me when passed the original ETA and came to the gate to wait for me in the dark which was amazing. It’s a magical where you can watch the sunrise, sunset, moon rise and moon set.

Such a beautiful peaceful retreat. We loved staying here, sitting on the verandah of a morning was a highlight. We had friends camping close by so this was such a great place to stay, the area is lovely. Not far from Imbil township for great bakery treats. Friendly hosts and animals around the property we thoroughly enjoyed it. Would love to come back.

The beautiful log cabin is something straight out of the movie. Such a peaceful getaway, with plenty of birds and stars in the night Sky to keep you company. Anthony and Cad are such welcoming hosts! Ask them about the history of the property when you arrive. Highly recommend this country retreat!
