We are a 10 minute drive from Rosewood and Laidley where you will find cafes, supermarkets, fuel and a variety of other things to enjoy. We provide an extensive camping ground which ensures that you will have a large amount of space to set up comfortably. Flushing toilets and hot showers are provided. We offer you the choice of a standard enclosed private shower or the fun of open air showers. We also have ice for sale. We are happy for you to come and camp on your own or book the entire place if you have an event, large groups are welcome. There is a designated area that can be hired for parties and private functions with marquees available if required. Pets are welcome and must be under control and on a leash as there are farm animals kept on this property. Camp fires are permitted in communal fire areas or at your camp in provided fire drums. There is a limited number of fire drums available, so you are welcome to bring your own. The only exception will be if a local fire ban is activated. We have firewood available for sale, or you can collect free firewood off the ground. You are also welcome to bring your own firewood. No chainsaws allowed. Please note that there is no potable water on site. You must bring your own DRINKING water. During extreme weather events the property can be affected, so if rain is forecast, please call before heading out. Our campsite is located right on the doorstep to Lamington National Park and the entrance to most walking tracks. We loved our three night stay at Dead Tree Alley. Guy the host and his children were so helpful and it was great to chat while the geese, chickens, Guinea fowl, pigs, roosters, alpacas, goats, cows etc were being fed. We will be back one day soon. We can absolutely recommend this Hipcamp for anyone wanting to relax and reconnect with nature. Only one hour west of the Gold Coast!! 10 out of 10

Had the most beautiful time here. Stayed at the Creekside camp - wallabies hopping round of an afternoon, ducks and ducklings by the creek, which is beautiful and clear, perfect for a swim and to rest by on the grass. Amenities were super clean; the grounds were kept to a very high standard. Only a 15min drive to the Lower Portals walk too! Would definitely stay here again.
