Flinders peak is a good attraction for those who like a challenge to get to the top for awesome views of the local area.
This can take between 1-2 hours to get to the top
Mount Elliot and flinders peak are in national
Park area. Which is a 5 k drive from our farm
Parking area in the national park ,there are walking trails from the carpark area.
Good for bird watchers and those who like to get outdoors and do some hiking or moutain climbing .
How to get to us? We have two ways in .
Option 1:
Via Flagstone onto Bushman Drive – then into Wyatt road follow to the end and turn right onto undullah road follow for 5 ks .
we approximately 14 km from the Flagstone Shopping Centre.
Please note: 10 km of this route is gravel road. 4x4 vehicle access is recommended.
Option 2:
From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road.
This route is 4x4 access is recommended with some narrow bends – please drive to conditions. We do have 2 wheel drives make the journey !

We loved our stay. We booked The Woody and it was perfect for the weekend. We're looking forward to returning with the tent to explore the rest of the property. What a fantastic stay we had, even though the weather gods were not on our side. The views were absolutely amazing and made the whole place feel really special. The full kitchen setup was awesome and had everything we needed, which made cooking and relaxing easy. The obvious highlight was the dual bathtubs and hammocks looking out to the mountains — such a great way to unwind. The yurt itself was really spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing and secluded getaway.

WOW! What an amazing place. Sam is such a great host and has recently taken over the camp. Set up was lovely, amazing views and great swim holes near by. If you want to get away from the city and relax this is perfect for you. Hammocks under misting tent, baths overlooking an amazing view and an awesome outdoor kitchen.

We had a wonderful 3-day stay at ‘Woody’ at Larapinta over Christmas and absolutely loved it. The cabin and setting is peaceful, and grounding - the perfect place to slow down, switch off and just be.
The hot tub was hands down the highlight. We spent hours relaxing and rejuvenating - it was blissful and exactly what we needed after a big year. There’s something very special about unwinding under the sky, letting the world fade away, and feeling completely at ease.
This is a special place that we’d happily return to and recommend to anyone looking for relaxation, nature and a little bit of magic.

We chose Nine Mountains as the place to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, and it exceeded every hope we had. It is barefoot luxury; the perfect blend of what both campers and comfort-seekers dream of… beautifully crafted rustic spaces immersed in nature, paired with thoughtful touches that make the stay feel truly special.
It is the kind of setting that slows you down, fills your lungs with fresh air, and leaves you with memories that linger long after you leave. There was even some unexpected entertainment courtesy of a cheeky local bush turkey and an early morning visit from a kangaroo family.

This is such a lovely and thoughtful hip camp. Our hosts were lovely and welcoming. The came is private, and serene with outdoor bath tubs and shaded spots. We've stayed at many different "glamping" accomodations and this certainly can hang with the best of them. It's close to Brisbane, good value and very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Beautiful location to rest and recuperate. Lou goes out of her way to communicate prior to your arrival to confirm your needs such as additional food packages or dietary requirements. She and Greg were there to greet us on arrival and show us around. The amenities are clean and have all the creature comforts for a relaxing stay from slippers and bathrobes to bath salts, and a selection of hot beverages with choccie bikkies.
Pro's - Lovely hosts who have made an effort to create a relaxing private space. All cooking needs were provided for so you only need to bring your own clothes. Comfortable bed. Beautiful views out to Glasshouse mountains. Shaded areas provided to relax. Hubby is already planning on buying a hammock it was so comfortable!
Con's - Relatively close to neighbours (albeit that the site is designed so that you can't see them and vice versa). Some road noise from trucks at times but lots of bird life to focus on instead. Not much to do unless you hop in the car and drive somewhere however Lou has made an effort to include some games and also directions to waterholes. If you just want to relax and read a book like us - perfect.
Overall a very enjoyable stay and lovely thoughtful hosts.

The tent always comes with very clear instructions and has everything you need to enjoy an incredible experience in nature. It is a perfect spot right in front of the Nine Mountains. I totally agree that if you want to escape from the city environment, this place is perfect for that. Once again, thank you, Lou and Creg. We enjoyed every moment.

Everything about this hipcamp was amazing and would most definitely recommend! It was the most peaceful and relaxing stay for our anniversary, every little detail was thought out, Lou was a lovely host, the bed was great and the bathtub views were a stand out!

Weekend Trip to Nine Mountains Glamping
Our jaws hit the floor as we came around the corner but once we got out of our car we realised how much thought has gone into it all.. the layout of the amazing bell tent was like something out of a magazine.. just stunning and the bed was so lush and super comfy.. stark difference from our usual camp trips sleeping on blow up mattresses! The kitchen/bathroom block was just gorgeous and very clean and we really appreciated all those little extras tucked away neatly in the cabinets.. also felt very fancy with our robes and slippers especially after having a bath with the bath salts you left us. Every little space you created on that perfect patch of grass was just magic. To top it all off the most incredible view of the valley and glass house mountains, just lovely waking up to that and ending the night around the fire staring at it. You've given us a weekend we will never forget and we can’t wait to come back.

Absolutely lovely hosts who will look after you. Nine mountain clamping is a small slice of your own private heaven. A view of the glass house mountains , a gorgeous bell tent that is sooooo comfy and warm. It's amazing for a honeymoon or a trip away with the other half.
