Midskinrick is a 40-acre waterfront property on Baffle Creek in Queensland. 70km north of Bundaberg, 125km south of Gladstone. This little piece of paradise, on the southern bank of Baffle Creek, is a great place to fish from the bank or launch your boat, crab, swim (in our dam), relax and enjoy the peace while watching the wildlife. Choose the unique modern self-contained Lodge or bring your caravan/camper/rooftop/swag/tent and book a camp site. There are 10 large family sized powered sites with a firepit available for each site (no water connection) situated near the dam. Access to, Hot showers (Small fee applies), Flushing toilets, Washing Machine (Small fee per load) and a Camp kitchen. The powered sites are approximately 400m from the riverbank. Confirming there are no water connections to these sites, please fill your tanks prior to coming, however; fresh water is available for drinking. Select Powered. In addition there are 7 large family sized unpowered sites with a firepit available for each, overlooking the river flats - Septic flushing toilets, Shower room (solar bag not supplied), Drinking water, Camp kitchen area, Firepits - bring your own wood or purchase from the owners (please do not source firewood from the roadside due to animal habitats). We are just 25 minutes to Bundaberg or Gin Gin. 5 minutes to 2 local pubs, service stations and local shop. Plenty of beaches, rivers and entertainment in the local area. If you are looking for somewhere fun for all the family you've come to the right place. Come and be blessed, enjoy our little piece of paradise. Bring your boat, kayaks, fishing rods, push bikes, surfboards etc. As the local surrounds hosts lots to do. parking available, plenty of parking out front. Pets welcome as long as they are friendly and do not chase or harm farm animals. NO PETS INSIDE THE GUEST HOUSE. Weekend Trip to Bucca Country River Retreat

Absolutely beautiful little modern cabin looking over the Kolan River. Just down the road from the Bucca Hotel. Clean and tidy. Comfortable bed. Nice shower and toilet. Kitchenette with the essentials. Excellent outdoor area with BBQ, sink and bench space. Comfortable seating. Nice fire pit. Sarah and Ronnie were amazing hosts and we will be back again.

The cabin was squeaky clean, well-equipped with a very comfortable bed. Verandah with outdoor setting and barbecue was great. Overlooking the peaceful river and lots of birdlife. I will definitely stay again.

What a lovely little cabin on this beautiful property! Sarah's place was well appointed with the finer fittings making the whole stay feel quite homely. Was the perfect place to watch the sunset from the deck, overlooking the river whilst having a bbq. The large firepit was a great place to see out the night. The whole camp grounds were very well kept. We can't recommend Sarah's cabin or camp grounds enough. 5 stars. We will be back.

I love the awesome and loving welcome by host. Very beautiful cottage with all facilities properly organised. She happily came for a farm tour and explained in detail about all pet animals their names age and likings as well.
