Kerry Valley Secret - Stockyard Creek, Kingfisher and Platypus Campsites in the Scenic Rim are exclusive bush campsites - once you have booked no-one else will be able to camp at that site - and they are perfect for groups!
The Stockyard Creek Campsite is situated on the babbling Stockyard Creek and there is a short walk to the bigger Albert River waterhole.
This pretty spot features Silky Oaks and Ironwood trees, views to Luke's Bluff and Ding Bing falls in Lamington National Park, has plenty of shade for tents and a huge space for caravans and camper trailers to turn around in
Family groups love the site for the babbling but shallow child friendly Stockyard Creek - perfect for paddling and playing in.
The Kingfisher and Platypus Campsites have larger waterholes than the Stockyard Creek Campsite, are great for fishing and swimming as you wander the 2km of river frontage . They both have easy access off the main Kerry Road.
Friends love our campsites for catch ups, the bird watching, small historical or nature walks around the property and of course the cool waterholes in the Albert River.
Other groups use Kerry Valley Secret as a base camp for hiking adventures in the wilderness end of Lamington National Park.
Bring your togs and floaties to cool down in the waterhole on the Albert River.
Don't forget the marshmallows to roast on the fire at night (firewood provided).
Binoculars and boots are a must for bird watching and exploring our walking tracks through the forest.
All campsites have basic toilet facilities (a portaloo) and firepit (with a free bag of kindling provided). Stockyard Creek Campsite also includes a picnic table.
Exclusivity is a feature of all our campsite and for that reason we only take a flat rate booking. Once you have booked no one else will be able to camp at the site, it is all yours.

This campsite is on a property in Wollumbin national park which is currently closed to outside visitors so you will get to enjoy the magic of the rainforest without the crowds. There is a creek running through the property which you can explore and is a 5 minute walk from the camp site.
You are welcome to climb to the top of the property if you are physically up for the challenge and take in breath taking views of both Mount warning up close and the surrounding area.
This is a private camp site with its own fire pit area. Mount warning is currently closed to the public to climb but there is plenty of creeks, a swimming hole close by and land to explore.
A 10 minute drive takes you to the quaint town of Uki and 25 minutes and you're in the country town of Murwillumbah. Please Note: This is 4WD access only.

This was the perfect camping spot for us. Totally private at the top of the hill, but close enough for us to walk to Cabarita shops and hotel, Woollies and bars, plus the Beach. Perfect spot!
So peaceful and quiet, especially as we were the only ones on the site.
Great ocean breezes amongst the trees.
Picnic table, chairs, swing and level pad for our caravan was great.
Plenty of bushwalking tracks too.
Will definitely be back!

Secluded bush camp but so close to the beach. The Bowls Club is even closer 😉.
Abundant Birdlife including Spangled Drongos, Forest Kingfishers and Little Wattle birds. There is road noise during the day, as it's on the hill, but quiet overnight traffic-wise. Campfire pit provided with bench seating but not used this time due to nice temperature. Picnic table and swing are great creature comforts.

A little slice of paradise. The views are incredible and the site was big, private and so well kept. We spent a few days as a family enjoying lots of lawn games, great food and taking in all our beautiful surroundings. Michael and Sally gave us a very detailed booklet with lots of information about everything we needed to know including places to explore. We all had such a fantastic time.

We had an amazing stay! The place was spotless, very well maintained, and the hosts were incredibly accommodating. We stayed with 4 adults, one baby, and our dog, and everything was perfect for our group.
We absolutely loved the views and the overall vibe such a special place to relax and enjoy nature. Due to the hot weather, we asked to change from the mountain spot to the river, and they were more than happy to help and make it happen, which we really appreciated.
We truly had the time of our lives and will definitely be coming back many more times. Highly recommend!

Massive campsites, so you're not on top of one another, yes they are pricey and not for everyone, but worth it if you want the space, peace and quiet, the ground's are immaculate, and what's not to love camping beside a creek.

We had an amazing stay at Cabarita Beach Station! The site was beautifully maintained, quiet, and perfectly secluded. The fire pit was a highlight. The bush swing was a bonus, and the kids loved it. The location is unbeatable - a short walk to the beach and shops, but still feels remote and peaceful. Scott, the host, was super responsive and made our stay even better. We'll definitely be back!

This Property was one of the most pristine and well looked after properties! It definitely felt like a high end camping experience. We had the most relaxing weekend and the hosts were so great with help and communication.
Loved that we could buy eggs straight from the chickens 🙌🏼

It is the definition of ‘basic’ but we really enjoyed the peace and quiet at Terri’s property. It’s a good way up Mt Warning, so be prepared for changeable mountain weather. As you’d expect staying beside a national park, there’s ton of wild life, birds, and of course bugs. Bird song, sundown frog chorus and the background noise from crickets was all we heard over the weekend,
Terri’s communications with us were excellent. We found the property easily and Terri met us on arrival to take us to the campsite. The campsite itself was open, and clean, with plenty of space to park and move about. It’s on the side of a small hill so flat ground is limited but there was enough flat ground for our tent and kitchen

This camping spot is amazing!
The camp site is close to the road, but not visible from the road and has minimal noise from traffic. The track down is steepish, we have 17ft & 18.5ft full size off road caravans, towed with a 4WD in 4low we had no problem getting in or out. There is a very large level area perfect for caravans. This private one site gem is right next to the river, it offers all our favourite activities, swimming, fishing & kayaking, there are some shallow spots but was still great fun, our grandson loved the rapids. There is plenty of room for kids to ride their bikes.
We loved the large established fire pit.
The host Luke touched base before our visit and gave me a run down on everything we needed to know, which was great. The property is well maintained, hats off to you Luke.
Those who are with Optus may want to invest in a Starlink as there is no service.
We would rate this Site No1, it is definitely on our list of places to revisit, loved it!

This campsite was absolutely beautiful so quiet, peaceful, and perfectly secluded. Being surrounded by nature with no distractions made it incredibly special. It gave my daughter and me the chance to really slow down, talk, laugh, and just enjoy each other’s company. We made memories here that I’ll treasure forever. If you’re looking for a place to switch off and reconnect, this spot is truly something special.

Great site! Fancy estate that has been done up well. I was hesitant about the price compared to others but i can see why! Lovely upkept spaces, amenities and waterways to explore! I would stay again, only when the grounds men arent working around the corner clearing for your next sites :p was like our private space and get away with the dogs!
