Great stay. Very relaxing . Coming frome the southside of Brisbane though make sure you book in for a time where traffic is good. Took me 2.5 hrs to get there on a Friday afternoon and only an hour to get back Sunday morning. No phone reception BTW 'Vodafone ' but I have starlink. Most sites are shaded so if you rely on solar you'll need to move about or move your solar panels about. Overall the campsites are well kept and Jodie was a good host. Environment was beautiful.. very nice creek and very happy with my stay .

Great spot close to Maroochydore off leash dog friendly and close to mudjimba dog beach. Fire wood supplied good privacy large site. I towed a dual axle 18ft van in no worries its a fairly rutted short track but go slow no worries, if it was wet weather it would be boggy though. Great location and well priced

Camped behind the dune at the beach, ocean within footsteps, love the experience, there’s a fun little obstacle to get up the dune plan the tide so you have plenty of runway :) Short walk to the pond in the common area, got paddle boards and mini kayaks, little fella loved it. Love the BBQ and sleep with ocean sound background, with k’s of pipi’s fresh outta low tide, Mark knows the trick how to cook them :)

Walking boots are highly recommended. There is plenty to do and see in the area including exploring nearby Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Gardeners Falls, Kondalilla National Park, Australia Zoo, indulge in a tasting at the Barrel at Clouds Vineyard opposite the front gate, stroll through Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World or take a short drive to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches. Formally a banana & pineapple plantation, Hunchy Hills is strictly 4WD only access property. There is a toilet and gas hot shower included. If you have a camper trailer it needs to be off-road/high clearance and you need to be experienced in towing off road. No caravans or Hybrids sorry, too steep and tight. Sites 1-3 are large level pads approx. 12M by 12M, each with their own fire pit and log seat. Site 4 is perched on the side of the hill and 6M by 6M in size. Due to new council regulations, we can no longer camp directly near the creek edges as we did before. Our campsites have now been relocated to higher ground, offering beautiful views of the creek. The creek entrances are accessible within 50 to 300 meters, depending on the path you choose. Unplug and unwind at our 22 acre camping paradise nestled amongst the rolling green hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Listen to the babbling water sounds of Scrubby Creek and the Mary River that meandering through the perimeter of the property for over 1 kilometer. Stroll through our mini rainforest, paddle in the creek or have a dip in one of the many rock pools. We will even let you build as many rock towers as you like! Throw an inner tube in the creek and float around while the kids laugh and play all day long. Let the kids dig holes or fossick for the perfect skimming rocks, ride bikes or play endless games on the beautiful landscaped grass. Plenty of trees to put up that hammock or soak in the creek with views overlooking the wilderness. Sit back and gaze at the starlit skies while the kids roast yet another marshmallow on the campfire. There is a designated area that can be hired for parties and private functions with marquees available if required. Pets are welcome and must be under control and on a leash as there are farm animals kept on this property. Camp fires are permitted in communal fire areas or at your camp in provided fire drums. There is a limited number of fire drums available, so you are welcome to bring your own. The only exception will be if a local fire ban is activated. We have firewood available for sale, or you can collect free firewood off the ground. You are also welcome to bring your own firewood. No chainsaws allowed. Please note that there is no potable water on site. You must bring your own DRINKING water. During extreme weather events the property can be affected, so if rain is forecast, please call before heading out.
