We have 3 private campsites to offer, all have good distance from each other with no visibility of other camps. Approximately 400m from other sites. We like to camp with room too! All sites are fenced off with a gate to drive in and keep the cattle out. Please select a site for more detailed description on what to expect and the extras it offers. Selecting a site will show more accurate photos of that particular location instead of every photo found here. Must be over 18 to book, under 18’s need to be accompanied by an adult over 18. Pets welcome however must remain on leash or tether *Please notify us if bringing a dog* Please clean up after your dog ready for the next camper. Fires permitted only in fire-rings provided. Check for local fire ban restrictions first. There is plenty of wood lying around for use (bring your axe or saw). Things to do - Send some golf balls into space -The creek is seasonal, only flowing after good rain. It will dry up in some conditions. Swimming in the water holes is ok, please check in the water for depth and sticks -Brisbane river is up the road (10mins) to Savages crossing or Twin Bridges. Fantastic swimming or lazing in the running water. -Push bikes, Brisbane Valley Rail Trail is 5min away if you jump on at Borallon Station Rd. Some cattle tracks for the kids to ride along in the paddock also. -Wivenhoe, Somerset Dam in the area for water sports -Wildlife watching, this paddock sustains a large variety of native animals, if you’ve got a keen eye -Bottle Tree pub is just down the road, - bit more than walking distance tho :) -Take it easy.

We had such a wonderful stay at Gums. The site was private, peaceful, and a really decent size, giving us plenty of space to relax without feeling crowded. The property is clearly very well looked after, and the added gazebo with chairs and tables was such a bonus, perfect for meals, shade, and winding down in the afternoons. It’s a beautiful escape so close to Brisbane, yet it feels like you’re a world away. We’ll definitely be back!

Had a lovely time camping at "Jack's Place". There was plenty of room, level ground & it's a beautiful place to appreciate nature. My dog & I had a visit from some horses, very tame, as well as some kangaroos at dusk. Great communication with hosts. Highly recommend the experience.

We have been searching for a camp site for a while that has everything we want, we like privacy and quiet with no other campers walking through our camp or setting up right beside our camp. We booked and stayed at gums on the billabong and it is the perfect spot. Thank you Cameron we have now finally found our perfect camp spot and will definitely be booking this site from now on. The site we had was beautiful and shady in the afternoons. We had a caravan and stayed at the party hut which was very private and our fur babies enjoyed it too. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. Cameron was easily contactable and lovely to deal with.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing peaceful stay This campsite is beautifully maintained and feels very secure. It’s completely private and incredibly quiet — the perfect place to relax and switch off. I was curious about the wood-fire heated outdoor bath, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. Heating the water with fire and bathing under the stars after a hot day was absolutely incredible. Such a special off-grid moment. The nearby river and creek are also stunning — perfect for cooling down and enjoying nature. Overall, my stay was so relaxing and peaceful. I also want to apologise — when I was leaving, my car bumped into one of the wooden benches near the fire pit. The timber was heavier than I expected, and I wasn’t able to put it back perfectly. I’m very sorry for that. Thank you so much for providing such a beautiful place. I’d love to come back again.

We had an amazing 3 nights. We were lucky to see a koala on the day of our arrival which was right next to our camp site. We had frequent visits from the 2 horses, kangaroos and multiple species of bird life. It was so relaxing, we didn’t want to leave. We also caught plenty of blue claw which were yummy. We would highly recommend this stay. It was also close to town if the need to purchase anything you had forgotten to bring, but still have the feel you were remote.

Had a relaxing few nights stay with my dogs at Coominya Farm Stay. The dogs enjoyed swimming in the dam and host Lynn was lovely to communicate with and even nicer in person. The amenities were spotless. Although I didn’t need to use the camp kitchen, it was a large, well thought out space and very clean. Overall a great value Hipcamp with the access to hot showers, toilets and camp kitchen all included.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this campsite we found through Hipcamp. The spot was incredible, right in the middle of nature, peaceful and private, with that great feeling of being completely on our own. It was exactly what we were looking for to switch off and recharge. The hosts were genuinely lovely, friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. They also sell firewood on-site, which we really appreciated, and it’s a great way to support them, so definitely grab some if you can. Thanks to that, we were able to enjoy a proper campfire under the stars. The campsite was clean, well looked after, and everything was set up so that campers feel comfortable and relaxed. We honestly felt more like guests than customers. In short, it’s the perfect place if you’re after peace, nature, and warm hospitality. Highly recommend !!! we’d love to come back!
