Nice spot, fantastic soft grass, Level, beautiful creek, 10 minutes walk to a traditional qld small town pub.. Paul is friendly and kind. Tried some home grown sweet corn. Met his funny little 2 week old goat. Very relaxing. Just what we were after. Highly recommended.

What a beautiful peaceful and private spot
Paul the host was very welcoming and even donated some fresh veggies 🌽 and also a visit from Molly the new baby goat
Situated Right next to the creek with the sound of the flowing water was very relaxing
Plenty of native wildlife
Highly recommended

It was such a lovely experience. Paul was absolutely lovely and so accommodating of us. The place itself is beyond beautiful, we laid down for hours and watched shooting stars which was an incredible experience. The dogs loved swimming in the creek. Only downside was the closeness of both campsites but it is nothing that can be helped and was easily avoided with a car inbetween for privacy. Would love to come back and would always recommend to friends in the future. Affordable and beautiful

A lovely spot down by the creek. We booked both sites for privacy. Paul is a lovely and helpful host. You can hear the road noise (not super loud) and activity from neighbours sometimes, and you do see the host around occasionally so it's not total seclusion, but regardless it was a great spot to unwind. There is a lot of wildlife, especially birds and the dogs loved being off-leash and exploring the creek.

A very peaceful place to camp, has a creek & beautiful peacocks. We feel safe and very relaxed and hope to come back again when we can.

Just got back from our trip to She-Oak Hideaway. Absolutely beautiful campsite and area surrounding. Definitely one of the best I have ever been too. Owner is absolutely fantastic and could not recommend this site more

This was our second stay and we would happily visit again. We had 3 nights this time and it was lovely to really soak up an exceptionally pretty spot. Paul is very gentle in manner and really leaves you to your relaxation but definitely responsive to any requests. The care and pride he takes in maintaining this special spot is evident!
While the highway noise is sometimes audible, we are both light sleepers and found it not at all obtrusive. Highly recommend 👍

Loved camping here, we stayed on a campervan site and the amenities and facilities at Nobby's Beach Holiday Village we great, clean and tidy, neat and the caravan park was kept in very good condition. Highly recommend it and its in a very good location. We could easily walk across to the road to the beach and local cafes and shops.

This is a beautiful place to spend the weekend. We have two young children and a dog, so we always a little concerned about the space aspect. That was not a problem at all. Even though there is plenty of places to camp, Paul makes a point not to over book and keeps his numbers at a minimum. The host Paul was lovely, had cute games for the kids, Power for the caravan and there was even direct creek access a couple of feed away from your camp.
We love exploring, so we walk down the creek side, over the hill and kept walking to the town pub of Maryvale.
The best part was how genuine Paul was. He has a genuine care for his Hipcamp guests, which is lovely. This place would be even more magical in the warmer months. It was about 8 degrees. We will definitely be back, it would be great to book for your family or a small group.
Book away, you won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful littles spot after a picturesque drive along the Cunningham highway. Paul met us on arrival and hooked us up with power. We had a very generous load of wood 🪵 and some honey from him too. We will definitely go back, there are two sites a very decent distance apart! A relaxing overnighter for us.
