Be immersed in the rugged beauty of our Northern bushland, from the luxury of your own fully self contained Van, camper tent or roof top. Open your eyes in the morning to a breathtaking escarpment of native bush. This makes the perfect camp to come home to after exploring Litchfield's waterfalls and attractions. At present we will only be offering 15 self contained sites, so plenty of space not to be on top of each other.
We (the owners) live on-site, about a three minute walk from the Van sites. We have also started a little coffee shop at our main camp so you can find us there most days.
We are located just 8km from Wangi Falls, one of Litchfield's largest and most iconic waterfalls. For most of the year it is open for swimming. There are also several other smaller water holes nearby. Most water attractions are accessible by car. If you do have a 4WD be sure to go off-road to visit the amazing, less accessible sites.

This quiet camp slopes down to the beach, passing palm trees and shady casuarinas. Feel free to grab a coconut and relax on the swing, hammock, or beach chairs while one of you throws out a line. Plenty of barra and snapper have been caught from the beach right out front.
There is a large fire pit set up for cooking. Please use this as the only place you light a fire.
The property has around a dozen different kinds of tropical fruit, and at any time of year, you’ll be able to find a variety of frangipanis and hibiscus to place on the ocean-view picnic table.
The only humbug is the fruit bats, which can make quite a racket when the mangoes are ripe.
The ferry terminal is just down the road and will take you across to Darwin in about 10 minutes. It runs most hours until midnight.
The community has a general store and the Cox Club, where you can enjoy a meal or a beer under the banyan tree. There are often bands playing on weekends. The club is about a 2 km walk along the beach or road.
This is a residential area with neighbours on both sides. It is a one acre block with my partner, little dog and myself staying in a house close to the road. However we aim to provide you with privacy. The beach side of the block is yours to play on. Please camp within the property line.

Conveniently located, we're a 30 minute drive from Darwin CBD , 15 minutes from two major shopping centres, 1 hour from Litchfield National Park , 1.5 hours from Kakadu National Park, 20 minutes from the public dump point, and only 5 minutes from the local IGA and post office, the family friendly Howard Springs Nature Reserve, and excellent pine forest mountain bike trails.
We have only two sites, to give you excellent privacy and space. The sites are level and grassed, with dedicated water and power access. You are welcome to share our refreshing plunge pool.
Wander the yard to enjoy the gardens or spot small lizards and frogs. We have fantastic recycling and compost facilities, in a small effort to reduce our collective impact on the environment.
Kids will love having plenty of space to run, ride and explore. There is a kids cubby and mud kitchen, sandpit, swings and a climbing frame (all to be used at your own risk).
You will need to be fully self-contained with your own camping toilet/shower.
We are in a rural residential area, located at the end of a very quiet court, and while it's rare, you may hear normal neighbourhood noises from time to time.
Pets may be accepted (please enquire before booking), and pet minding may be available so that you can get away to enjoy the Territory's beautiful national parks and swimming holes.

Green Acres is located in Bynoe, just over an hour and a half drive from Darwin in the Northern Territory. We have five spacious powered sites and plenty of non-powered sites available.
We are close to boat ramps where you can access excellent fresh and salt-water fishing and crabbing.
We are close to both Berry Springs and Litchfield National Park where you can find stunning waterfalls, swimming holes and wildlife to enjoy.
The Sandpalms Roadhouse is a two minute drive away. They offer fuel, a cafe style menu, with special nights for a roast or a woodfired pizza, They are a licensed, family friendly establishment.
There is often wildlife visiting our property so keep an eye out whilst enjoying your time at camp. Enjoy listening to the sounds of nature while sitting around your campfire.
We also have a toilet and shower available for campers. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash upon arrival and under your control at all times. Due to not having an area waste removal program in Bynoe it is appreciated that you take all waste with you.

Camp Calm was the perfect base camp for us to visit the Darwin area for the week! Chan and Mick are super friendly and helpful, the sites are clean and easy to access with the pool/outdoor area being a highlight for us and our girls to play, relax and cool off.
Quiet and peaceful sites with most local attractions only 20mins or less drive away.
Thank you for having us, we had a great time in Darwin staying with you at one of the best camps we’ve stayed at so far on our half lap.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Perfect place to unwind and relax with family abd friends! The taps with running water and cool shower made it doable with young kids at the back end of the dry. The fully fence space is perfect for safety for young kids and our dog that came for this getaway :) it truly is a beautiful place...lots of shade..fire pits...power...highly recommend!!

The short drive from Adelaide River was absolutely worth it. I had booked to stay 2 nights and when I arrived and found it so peaceful I booked a third. It was so peacefully quiet.
There are mature tress across the sites that provide more than adequate shade. The ground had a covering of leaf litter giving the area a park like appearance, and provided a soft surface to walk barefoot and connected to the earth.
Janet has created 2 short paths into the rainforest and what a surprise in there - a spring fed crystal clear creek with a gentle steady flow.
The timing was perfect to stretch out in the hammock and watch thousands of butterflies or sit on the seat and relax with the sound of the running water, maybe read a book.
I had a DMax and 6.5m van and had no issue at all with access.
If you are looking for somewhere to stay around Adelaide River, give yourself a treat and stay here. I’m sure you will be pleased you did.

Loved our 2 night stay at kick back and relax! Hearing the waves roll in all night under an uninterrupted starry sky was absolute bliss. Super close beach access and only 5 mins drive to the pub! Perfect central spot. Load of shady trees, great fire pit, swing and tables right on the cliffs! We will be back :)

We loved this beautiful bush site, you have the whole area to yourselves, it's peaceful, private and secluded. The area is flat and there's heaps of room for your campfire.
Morgan was lovely, she met us on arrival and took us to the site then allowed us to do our own thing undisturbed. Had a great sleep and woke up to a beautiful bush sunrise.

The campsite itself is beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly well-maintained, but what truly sets it apart is the incredible host( Faye) and our paw friend Buster.
