Karoola Station is a working family farm, lucky enough to have frontage and easy access to the Murrumbidgee River near Gundagai in NSW, halfway between Sydney and Melbourne. We are located a short 13km drive off the Hume Highway and only 45 minutes from Wagga Wagga the largest inland city in NSW. Not only is Gundagai the gateway to the Riverina but the Snowy Mountains Alpine area is within a day trip from here too, making it a great central location.We are sheep graziers, and in season, visitors can observe the newborn lambs or freshly shorn sheep.There are no amenities available, self contained camping only. Campfires permitted in designated areas when restrictions aren't in place. Good access for caravansKaroola gives you the opportunity to fish, swim, boat or kayak on the river. You can walk along the riverbank or up onto the rocky outcrop for a great view of the Murrumbidgee floodplain and surrounding farming country or perhaps you would just like to relax with a good book and drink under the huge gumtrees on the riverbank in peace and quiet. Dogs permitted (see rules).

Bectric Hall Recreation Reserve

 The Bectric Hall was built in 1904 and has since been lovingly restored. We are now offering camping on the reserve surrounding this historic hall.  The reserve is located in a true bush setting. A large open field can be used for camping or there is a gravelled area if you wish to be closer to the Hall. Please note guests will not have access to inside the hall.There is a community undercover BBQ area that can be utilised by campers,  together with Tennis Courts (bring your own balls & racquet). There are no toilet or shower facilities here, campers will need to be self sufficient and leave no trace. Nearby is the townships of Ariah Park and Temora where there are many cafe's and restaurants, Lake Centenary and also the wonderful Temora Aviation Museum.Located 3 hours from Canberra, 1 hours from Wagga Wagga and 2.5 hours from Albury.

The campsite is a convenient 14km from Narrandera, and 12km from Grong Grong, not far off the Newell Highway. In town you will find all the supply and grocery stores to meet your needs.Located on the banks of Bundidgerry Creek on the Old Wagga Road you will find the old Cobb & Co route, south of the Newell Highway. Camp along the same water’s edge where travellers from past centuries would stop overnight on their journey out west. The campsite is located on the edge of the creek in an open, grassed area with plenty of shady trees. The creek flows well all year round and offers a fantastic spot for the family to enjoy. Swim, fish, kayak, canoe, launch a boat or relax and read a book as the sunlight reflects off the water.At camp you will have access to the undercover camp kitchen with a sink, BBQ and tables. There is a firepit, wood fired pizza oven for cooking. Guests have access to a gas hot water shower and flushing toilet. We ask that you leave no trace and take all your belongings and rubbish with you.Your pet is welcome to camp with you.Enjoy boating, fishing, kayaking or just relax.

Adelong Falls Bush Camp offers a beautiful open, flat camping area on 2 acres of land. There is 13 old friendly Cows who also share the property and you may see them wandering around. Enjoy the brand new walking track at the front of the property which takes you up to the beautiful Adelong Falls. The walking trail will have you crossing the Adelong Creek and is a beautiful and scenic experience. We are close to Tumut and within reach of the Snowy Mountains, there is plenty of 4WD opportunities and beautiful views surrounding us. We are also walking distance to the pub! Campfires are welcome in the fire pit we have created, we will supply a small amount of firewood to get you started but you may like to bring along some more. Pets are welcome on leash, we have a dog as well and your pet must be good to the cows. We often have friendly kangaroos that visit too.

Turn LEFT off Hume Highway into Adelong Creek Rd if you are driving from the South OR turn Right across freeway if you are driving from Gundagai Iconic Gundagai village is only 8 km away. Water sports, hiking, horse riding and skiing are all available in the nearby area. Also only 45 minutes from Wagga Wagga. Pets are welcome but must be contained to protect nature and wildlife. Campfires are permitted but you must have your own fire pit.

A lot of amazing native landscapes and some open areas. Great for trail riding, bush walking or mountain bike as there are gentle slopes through the bush. Grass trees are plentiful in the rear of the property and there are two eagles that live near the back of the block also. You do have to drive through inglebah reserve to get to the property which is hidden away . Only 7 mins to town which has all the outlets you need We also have 4g on the property for Optus users in most locations FIRE RESTRICTIONS Please adhere to the local fire ban dates and do not start fires near grass areas when wind is increased. Also we have a nice big dirt area area the camp ground so get the kiddies to round up a few rocks to create a fire pit and there is an abundance of fire wood. Always be cautious of lighting a camp fire not to close to fuel and or your vehicles or tent, the wind may change through the night. - We will have an ENVIRO TANK installed mid year for a drop point sewer - We only have 6 dams on the property with plenty of YABBIES if you grab some yabbies please throw in some pieces of meat and or frozen veggies to help them grow for the next time you visit. - There are a lot of Native wallabies on our property and many hares with in the bush land NO QUESTIONS ASKED RESTRICTIONS AND GUIDELINES - YOU MAY HAVE FIRE ARMS WITH YOU IF YOU ARE LICENCED AND PASSING THROUGH !! BUT UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE IS THERE ANY SHOOTING ON THE PROPERTY AS THERE MAY BE MORE THEN 1 GROUP ON THE PROPERTY. - PICK UP ALL YOUR RUBBISH WHEN YOU LEAVE AND PUT IT IN BINS PROVIDED IN TOWN (5 MINS AWAY) there are piles of old rubbish in farm that we are cleaning up on a monthly basis which was left there from previous owners. Please treat the farm like it is your home.
