**Please be aware that for the month of November and December we will not be allowing camp fires due to risk to the crop. If no camp fire would be a disappointment (and we wouldn't blame you for being disappointed given the camp fire is the main activity!), you are best to book for outside this period. Our 300-acre off-grid property backs onto the Barmah National Park. This forest, together with the adjoining Millewa forest, forms the largest River Red Gum forest in the world - it's majestic to explore. Our property is just 500 meters from the Murray River. From your camp, roughly a 1 kilometre walk through the forest. On our boundary is Backwater Creek, which fills with water when the Murray River is up. NOTE: Creek is often dry. It has water in it after environmental flows of the Murray. This can happen several times a year and the water lasts a few months. If you have any questions about water levels please ask before booking as it might be dry when you're here. We're located just 5kms north-east of Moama, where you can hop aboard a paddle-steamer, visit waterside wineries and soak up rich riverboat heritage. We offer a few large, beautiful, basic bush camping sites (the best kind!) in amongst 50 acres of bushland, with 100's of meters and trees between you and other potential campers. The rest of our property is used for cropping and sheep. Campers must take out what you bring in. Mobile phone service and internet is usually reliable, though with long weekends and summer school holidays the service seems to disappear! Completely. We suggest downloading (before leaving home) your Spotify faves and Maps for this area then you can't go wrong. *Please feel free to book anyone in your possie that is under 18 as a child.

Our property is located on a 10-acre block on the banks of the Murray River. We are approximately 3km from the town centre but have a private and secluded feel with no close neighbours. A peaceful base camp to retreat back to after exploring the region. Nestled on the river bank, among the gum trees and pines, are beautiful shady, camping spots, welcoming self-contained campers, with plenty of room for you to set up comfortably. A stone's throw from camp you'll find a great place to fish for Murray Cod and crays, a spot from which to launch your canoes or paddle boards, the bank is quite steep and you can access using a ladder which is shown in photos. There is access to many wonderful cycling tracks and rail trails in the area. There is a corner shop within walking distance, and great cafes and restaurants close by. Corowa Chocolate and Whisky Factory Museum, Golf Club, RSL and cinema. With the wineries of Wahgunyah and Rutherglen just over the bridge! There are sunny and shady spots but sun cannot be guaranteed all day so please bring a generator or hire ours if you need extra power.

Whether you’re swapping travel stories, sipping a glass of red, toasting marshmallows, or simply soaking up the peace — our fire pits bring people together in the best kind of way. Nestled on the banks of the Edward River, part of the magnificent Murray River system, our park offers easy access to some of the best freshwater fishing in the Murray River region. Unfortunately, as much as we love our pawfectly adorable furry visitors, we can't always allow pets in our park. Our property is located on a 10-acre block on the banks of the Murray River. We are approximately 3km from the town centre but have a private and secluded feel with no close neighbours. A peaceful base camp to retreat back to after exploring the region. Nestled on the river bank, among the gum trees and pines, are beautiful shady, camping spots, welcoming self-contained campers, with plenty of room for you to set up comfortably. A stone's throw from camp you'll find a great place to fish for Murray Cod and crays, a spot from which to launch your canoes or paddle boards, the bank is quite steep and you can access using a ladder which is shown in photos. There is access to many wonderful cycling tracks and rail trails in the area. There is a corner shop within walking distance, and great cafes and restaurants close by. Corowa Chocolate and Whisky Factory Museum, Golf Club, RSL and cinema. With the wineries of Wahgunyah and Rutherglen just over the bridge! There are sunny and shady spots but sun cannot be guaranteed all day so please bring a generator or hire ours if you need extra power.

Such a wonderful spot for a group camp or family getaway! Tony was so welcoming. He was great with our 4 year old and took him to see the cows and sheep. The property is large, really beautiful and well maintained. Highly recommend waking around! The amenities were neat and there's different bits amd pieces to use eg ice maker, microwave. The pool was lovely for a cool down. The tennis court was a real hit too. Thanks so much Tony, we will be back!

Carole was a friendly and generous host. I was given wood, eggs, oranges, spinach and even a salve for my sprained ankle. My camp site, situated at the bottom of their back garden, was right on the creek and felt like a bush setting. Plenty of animals -peacocks, geese, goats, chooks, to see, but not unfortunately the elusive platypus. But they did set up a TV documentary on platypus for to watch at my convenience. Definitely recommend their Farmstay.

Great site - wish we could stay longer. Kerry was very friendly and welcoming. Peaceful setting.. loved the big old trees, kookaburras and watching the squawking cockatoos with a cuppa by the campfire. We were the only ones there but there is enough space between campsites - I don’t think you’d hear or see them anyway if you’re looking for seclusion. Shower and toilet were great. Short 8 min drive into Moama if you need to pick up drinks/supplies, swim at Moama beach or go to the pub! Moama has a market on every second Sunday - worth a look if you’ve timed it well. Cheers

Kerry was so welcoming and wonderful! Even when I turned into the wrong property despite some very clear instructions! The campsite was rustic, quiet, full of birds (Sacred Kingfishers, Shrike Thrush and of course Cockatoos) and the odd roo popping in and out of view across the creek. But the shower - THE SHOWER!! - instant hot water, private setting and a lovely view from the little window; it was not just a shower, it was an EXPERIENCE! And after days on the road, completely needed. Then the campfire brazier at the site was so wonderful. There was ample wood to be gathered from the beautiful gums around us and the combination of crackling fire, birdsong and the sound of the wind through the trees meant I had a relaxing dinner, early night, a restful sleep and a beautiful morning wake-up. I will definitely come back the next time I pass by. I enthusiastically recommend Tooranie, regardless of whether you are after a quiet getaway or a place to bring the family. I only wish that I’d had longer to stay and explore!
