He is very social and friendly however. please supervise small children at all times, if your dog is not familiar with livestock please do not allow them to roam or have them tied up so they do not chase him! Please only feed him apples, carrots or lettuce/ cabbage leaves
a bag of carrots is available for purchase if you wish for a hand feed experience-
Please do not feed him bread as it makes him cranky !

Beautiful Coastal farmland near to Mimosa Rocks National Parks. Easy to access. Close to stunning townships of Bermagui just 15mins north and Tathra 30mins south. Observe an abundance of wildlife - spot an eagle, kangaroo, wallaby, possum, goanna, wombat or whale! Surf or swim any of the amazing beaches or lagoons -Bunga, Hidden Valley, Arraganuu, Bithry, Cuttagee, Camel Rock, Horseshoe Bay or Blue Pool. Walk the dog at Beares beach in Bermagui or Cuttagee beach, 10mins drive north. This is an incredible coastline to explore. Enjoy local fresh produce from Bermagui farmers market in summer on Thursday afternoons; Saturday market at Honorbread courtyard; fresh seafood either catch yourself or purchase from Bermagui Fishermans Wharf.
There is a little shed on this patch of land and campers have access to an undercover area off the side of the shed plus half of the inside area of the shed not being used for storage. There is a rainwater tank at the back of the shed. A nice, new compost toilet faces into the bush, we no longer use the one at the back of the shed.
To locate when heading south on Tathra -Bermagui Rd , Turn left into Hergenhans Rd which is approx 14km south of Bermagui, then left into Wrens Rd (Goalen N Rd on google maps) , follow Wrens Rd about 800m and you'll see a gateway on your right with Hipcamp sign (Bunga Summit). It is opposite gateway on left with Lot 3 sign. The next gate is padlocked where the shed is.
To access Bunga Beach, continue along Wrens Rd through neighbouring properties. The road has recently been resurfaced so is now accessible with 2WD. This is National Park so you can't have dogs here.
To access Back Bunga Beach continue along Hergenhans Rd and left onto O'sheas Rd which is also a good accessible road. taking you through neighbouring properties and ending at Mimosa Rocks National Park. This is an amazing walk from the carpark south along the beach to Hidden Valley.
For dog walking beaches head to Cuttagee just 10mins north towards Bermagui, or Beares Beach in Bermagui.
For injured wildlife or any wombats with mange around the campsite please phone my neighbour Sara as she volunteers for Wildlife Rescue South Coast.

Full privacy with only one group per secluded site. Spacious level grassy campsites on the Towamba (Kiah) River, a pristine estuary that runs into Twofold Bay. 10 minutes on bitumen south of Eden and close to many of the Sapphire Coast's stunning coastline, National Parks and attractions.
Site #1 (near) Boatramp has NO facilities so you must be self-contained. Site #2 Main Site offers a composting toilet. Both sites have access to fresh water and are suitable for caravans as well as tents.
We are not and never will be a 'caravan park' - your group will have exclusive use of the campsite. Each are far from each other, both are right near to - or very close to - the river. Our guests love the tranquility and not having to share!
Fish the river for flathead or bream and enjoy it for dinner by the campfire. Bring your kayak or SUP or just enjoy a swim in the clear sandy-bottom river.
Once your booking request has been confirmed, let us know if you need more specific directions so you can find us easily.
Well behaved (spoilt) dogs okay but please no hunting type dogs. Both sites have access to separate taps for fresh drinking water.
Firewood can be collected from the property or supplied at a small fee (you can book this when you book your site). Feel free to collect your own kindling - plenty around). Good mobile reception on the Telstra network.

We intentionally only have a limited number of campsites on our large property, so that you can enjoy camping in a natural setting away from the crowd.
We have drinking water, flushing accessible toilets and one hot shower in a central location a short walk from the campsites. We have a small campers amenities room with a basic kitchen (i.e. a sink, power, kettle, small fridge, microwave) and dining table and chairs, which is a place to do your dishes or shelter in rainy weather. There are also other outdoor pavilions in the central areas on the property.
Enjoy the forest trails here on the property, which take you on a tour to our peaceful back dam. Or explore further afield - our place links to both the Tathra-Kalaru bike track and the Bournda National Park, where you can access the Tathra Mountain Bike Trail Network, as well as the secluded coves along the Kangarutha Walking Track.
Our property is dog friendly for well-behaved dogs that don't chase wildlife or the horses on our property. No hunting dogs.
Campfires permitted when there are no restrictions. You can gather your own wood, or we can prepare wood for you.
Kangarutha also has a country style cottage (with a tennis court!) available for holiday rental - maybe for the parents or friends who are not so into camping! Roagumba, or Roa for short, is our 920 acre patch of paradise in the stunning Yowrie Valley on the NSW Far South Coast. Roa is a family owned working cattle farm, made up of approximately 60% cleared land and the rest native bushland.
The Yowrie Valley is surrounded by the beautiful Wadbilliga National Park, giving it a sense of remote seculsion whilst being only a 15 minute drive from the township of Cobargo. The valley is a 35 minute drive to the stunning beaches near Bermagui, whilst the historic and quirky town of Tilba is 40 minutes away.
The crystal clear Yowrie River flows along the western side of the property with numerous secluded swimming holes.
The property is a working cattle farm so you're likely to meet some very friendly cows during your stay, as well as a lot of native wildlife such as kangaroos, wombats and birds.
We operate three Hipcamp sites and two different locations on the property. Mountain Camp is a single site and offers complete seclusion and privacy, while River Camp is a double site and offers views across the valley whilst only being metres from the river. Both locations have composting toilets and Mountain Camp has an additional undercover camp kitchen.
We cater for small groups and families who are seeking a quiet, peaceful escape. Our sites are small and are capped at 6 people each, per night. To reduce vehicle traffic, protect our farms biosecurity and out of respect to our neighbours, there is a maximum of 2 vehicles allowed per site.

Welcome to Wombats Perch, a 4 acre block with access to the beach 150m from the bottom boundary. We are located at the North end of Aslings Beach in a private setting bordering the Beowa National Park.
To the North is Beowa National park, bush that runs all the way to Pambula river mouth, walking and bike tracks are accessible from the camp. Sea eagles nest across the valley, bell birds ping all day and whales can be spotted whilst cooking toasties on the fire. To the East and South are water views right across the Eden Bay to the light house towers.
We offer multiple camping options , 4 x 4 access is recommended but during dry conditions not essential, especially if tenting. 2 flat areas for trailers, vans and small caravans are available. Depending on the set ups we can accommodate 2 to 8 people easily. We have a Jayco Swan, the sites are perfectly suited to similar set ups. BYO water at this stage.
Swimming, snorkeling and fishing are all easily accessed on foot, we have spotted lots and lots of fish, rays and Banjo sharks.
The block is located in a private estate, with limited neighbors and a peaceful setting, we ask that campers respect this during their stay.
Located just 5kms North of Eden, it is private and secluded to stay and hide away for weeks and easy enough to venture into town for dinner when cooking feels optional. Pambula's famous oysters and vibrant shopping are 12 mins North , Merimbula and its holidays activities and excellent restaurant 15 to 20 mins.
Wombats Perch is named after the resident wombats of the area, they keep to them selves but you may find some skillfully perched square poos around the camp.
Please note, ticks are common in the area. Best to pack a freeze pen or Lyclear cream.

Undeveloped 7 acre bush block. Close to the centre of Kalaru and the lagoon. Minutes drive or cycle to mountain biking tracks and beautiful Tathra. Enjoy the sound of the bell birds. If you're lucky, you might see some native Orchids (usually blossoming around mid-November), or pop down to Tathra to watch whales on their migration or taking a break to feed south of Tathra Head.
Please note:
- This block is undeveloped, bar a short driveway. There are no services at this block (water, power, sewage, internet, waste collection etc.). It is the responsibility of campers to collect and remove their own waste. Info on the nearest waste facilities will be provided prior to check in.
- Ticks are present on this block. Please ensure that campers have appropriate supplies (or are prepared to otherwise seek assistance) to deal with ticks and that pets are protected appropriately.
- Snakes may also be present, although we have not personally sighted any.
- This block used to be attached to a nearby farm. The land is largely clean, but there are is the odd old bit of barbed wire or drum lying around. Please exercise appropriate caution when walking around the block.
- The block is heavily wooded. Bushfire restrictions may impact on the ability to have a camp fire. Permits may also be required.
- There are neighbours nearby. Please be considerate and courteous of those around them at all times. Keep noise to acceptable levels, particularly on weekends or in the evenings.
- Pets are accepted on the property. Campers are expected to clean up after their pets, ensure noise is kept to a minimum and that their pets are appropriately restrained (i.e. can't get at native wildlife or our neighbours). The property is not sufficiently fenced to contain pets.

The Bottom Paddock is located within a short drive from pristine uncrowded beaches, National Parks and the coastal holiday towns of Bermagui and Tathra on the far south coast of NSW. Grocery and supply stores are all within easy reach.
This is a quiet tranquil camping experience. If you’re planning a more lively getaway, The Bottom Paddock might not be the right fit for you.
The property is almost entirely forested with an array of vegetation community types including wetlands, riparian, coastal rainforest, open spotted gum forest and coastal scrub. We welcome you to immerse yourself in the varied terrain by foot or bike. You can explore the hillside and ridges, or have a gentle meander and swim down by the river.
The property has two listings to choose from, paddock sites and a bell tent site, which are nestled beside the waters of the Murrah River underneath beautiful old mother She Oaks. Each campsite has its own fire pit, grill and hotplate. Let us know if you need to borrow a skillet or camp oven. Firewood is also available if required.

Beautiful Coastal farmland near to Mimosa Rocks National Parks. Easy to access. Close to stunning townships of Bermagui just 15mins north and Tathra 30mins south. Observe an abundance of wildlife - spot an eagle, kangaroo, wallaby, possum, goanna, wombat or whale! Surf or swim any of the amazing beaches or lagoons -Bunga, Hidden Valley, Arraganuu, Bithry, Cuttagee, Camel Rock, Horseshoe Bay or Blue Pool. Walk the dog at Beares beach in Bermagui or Cuttagee beach, 10mins drive north. This is an incredible coastline to explore. Enjoy local fresh produce from Bermagui farmers market in summer on Thursday afternoons; Saturday market at Honorbread courtyard; fresh seafood either catch yourself or purchase from Bermagui Fishermans Wharf.
There is a little shed on this patch of land and campers have access to an undercover area off the side of the shed plus half of the inside area of the shed not being used for storage. There is a rainwater tank at the back of the shed. A nice, new compost toilet faces into the bush, we no longer use the one at the back of the shed.
To locate when heading south on Tathra -Bermagui Rd , Turn left into Hergenhans Rd which is approx 14km south of Bermagui, then left into Wrens Rd (Goalen N Rd on google maps) , follow Wrens Rd about 800m and you'll see a gateway on your right with Hipcamp sign (Bunga Summit). It is opposite gateway on left with Lot 3 sign. The next gate is padlocked where the shed is.
To access Bunga Beach, continue along Wrens Rd through neighbouring properties. The road has recently been resurfaced so is now accessible with 2WD. This is National Park so you can't have dogs here.
To access Back Bunga Beach continue along Hergenhans Rd and left onto O'sheas Rd which is also a good accessible road. taking you through neighbouring properties and ending at Mimosa Rocks National Park. This is an amazing walk from the carpark south along the beach to Hidden Valley.
For dog walking beaches head to Cuttagee just 10mins north towards Bermagui, or Beares Beach in Bermagui.
For injured wildlife or any wombats with mange around the campsite please phone my neighbour Sara as she volunteers for Wildlife Rescue South Coast.

Site #1 (near) Boatramp has NO facilities so you must be self-contained. Site #2 Main Site offers a composting toilet. Both sites have access to fresh water and are suitable for caravans as well as tents.
We are not and never will be a 'caravan park' - your group will have exclusive use of the campsite. Each are far from each other, both are right near to - or very close to - the river. Our guests love the tranquility and not having to share!
Fish the river for flathead or bream and enjoy it for dinner by the campfire. Bring your kayak or SUP or just enjoy a swim in the clear sandy-bottom river.
Once your booking request has been confirmed, let us know if you need more specific directions so you can find us easily.
Well behaved (spoilt) dogs okay but please no hunting type dogs. Both sites have access to separate taps for fresh drinking water.
Firewood can be collected from the property or supplied at a small fee (you can book this when you book your site). Feel free to collect your own kindling - plenty around). Good mobile reception on the Telstra network.

We intentionally only have a limited number of campsites on our large property, so that you can enjoy camping in a natural setting away from the crowd.
We have drinking water, flushing accessible toilets and one hot shower in a central location a short walk from the campsites. We have a small campers amenities room with a basic kitchen (i.e. a sink, power, kettle, small fridge, microwave) and dining table and chairs, which is a place to do your dishes or shelter in rainy weather. There are also other outdoor pavilions in the central areas on the property.
Enjoy the forest trails here on the property, which take you on a tour to our peaceful back dam. Or explore further afield - our place links to both the Tathra-Kalaru bike track and the Bournda National Park, where you can access the Tathra Mountain Bike Trail Network, as well as the secluded coves along the Kangarutha Walking Track.
Our property is dog friendly for well-behaved dogs that don't chase wildlife or the horses on our property. No hunting dogs.
Campfires permitted when there are no restrictions. You can gather your own wood, or we can prepare wood for you.
Kangarutha also has a country style cottage (with a tennis court!) available for holiday rental - maybe for the parents or friends who are not so into camping! Roagumba, or Roa for short, is our 920 acre patch of paradise in the stunning Yowrie Valley on the NSW Far South Coast. Roa is a family owned working cattle farm, made up of approximately 60% cleared land and the rest native bushland.
The Yowrie Valley is surrounded by the beautiful Wadbilliga National Park, giving it a sense of remote seculsion whilst being only a 15 minute drive from the township of Cobargo. The valley is a 35 minute drive to the stunning beaches near Bermagui, whilst the historic and quirky town of Tilba is 40 minutes away.
The crystal clear Yowrie River flows along the western side of the property with numerous secluded swimming holes.
The property is a working cattle farm so you're likely to meet some very friendly cows during your stay, as well as a lot of native wildlife such as kangaroos, wombats and birds.
We operate three Hipcamp sites and two different locations on the property. Mountain Camp is a single site and offers complete seclusion and privacy, while River Camp is a double site and offers views across the valley whilst only being metres from the river. Both locations have composting toilets and Mountain Camp has an additional undercover camp kitchen.
We cater for small groups and families who are seeking a quiet, peaceful escape. Our sites are small and are capped at 6 people each, per night. To reduce vehicle traffic, protect our farms biosecurity and out of respect to our neighbours, there is a maximum of 2 vehicles allowed per site.

Welcome to Wombats Perch, a 4 acre block with access to the beach 150m from the bottom boundary. We are located at the North end of Aslings Beach in a private setting bordering the Beowa National Park.
To the North is Beowa National park, bush that runs all the way to Pambula river mouth, walking and bike tracks are accessible from the camp. Sea eagles nest across the valley, bell birds ping all day and whales can be spotted whilst cooking toasties on the fire. To the East and South are water views right across the Eden Bay to the light house towers.
We offer multiple camping options , 4 x 4 access is recommended but during dry conditions not essential, especially if tenting. 2 flat areas for trailers, vans and small caravans are available. Depending on the set ups we can accommodate 2 to 8 people easily. We have a Jayco Swan, the sites are perfectly suited to similar set ups. BYO water at this stage.
Swimming, snorkeling and fishing are all easily accessed on foot, we have spotted lots and lots of fish, rays and Banjo sharks.
The block is located in a private estate, with limited neighbors and a peaceful setting, we ask that campers respect this during their stay.
Located just 5kms North of Eden, it is private and secluded to stay and hide away for weeks and easy enough to venture into town for dinner when cooking feels optional. Pambula's famous oysters and vibrant shopping are 12 mins North , Merimbula and its holidays activities and excellent restaurant 15 to 20 mins.
Wombats Perch is named after the resident wombats of the area, they keep to them selves but you may find some skillfully perched square poos around the camp.
Please note, ticks are common in the area. Best to pack a freeze pen or Lyclear cream.

If you're lucky, you might see some native Orchids (usually blossoming around mid-November), or pop down to Tathra to watch whales on their migration or taking a break to feed south of Tathra Head.
Please note:
- This block is undeveloped, bar a short driveway. There are no services at this block (water, power, sewage, internet, waste collection etc.). It is the responsibility of campers to collect and remove their own waste. Info on the nearest waste facilities will be provided prior to check in.
- Ticks are present on this block. Please ensure that campers have appropriate supplies (or are prepared to otherwise seek assistance) to deal with ticks and that pets are protected appropriately.
- Snakes may also be present, although we have not personally sighted any.
- This block used to be attached to a nearby farm. The land is largely clean, but there are is the odd old bit of barbed wire or drum lying around. Please exercise appropriate caution when walking around the block.
- The block is heavily wooded. Bushfire restrictions may impact on the ability to have a camp fire. Permits may also be required.
- There are neighbours nearby. Please be considerate and courteous of those around them at all times. Keep noise to acceptable levels, particularly on weekends or in the evenings.
- Pets are accepted on the property. Campers are expected to clean up after their pets, ensure noise is kept to a minimum and that their pets are appropriately restrained (i.e. can't get at native wildlife or our neighbours). The property is not sufficiently fenced to contain pets.

This is a quiet tranquil camping experience. If you’re planning a more lively getaway, The Bottom Paddock might not be the right fit for you.
The property is almost entirely forested with an array of vegetation community types including wetlands, riparian, coastal rainforest, open spotted gum forest and coastal scrub. We welcome you to immerse yourself in the varied terrain by foot or bike. You can explore the hillside and ridges, or have a gentle meander and swim down by the river.
The property has two listings to choose from, paddock sites and a bell tent site, which are nestled beside the waters of the Murrah River underneath beautiful old mother She Oaks. Each campsite has its own fire pit, grill and hotplate. Let us know if you need to borrow a skillet or camp oven. Firewood is also available if required.

Kiah Wilderness Retreat was fantastic. Arthur and Jenny were wonderful hosts. The space between sites meant we felt like we were the only ones there. Lots of room for our fur baby to run around. A great place to relax

I loved my night camping at Bottom Paddock beside the Murrah River. A beautiful setting isolated from busy roads. My little Honda Jazz managed to traverse the track to Bottom Paddock without difficulty. Christopher and Ren answered my msgs quickly, were very helpful and welcoming when I arrived. Christopher insisted on chopping wood and getting a fire going for me to add to the ambience. The compost loo is quirky and easy to use. I had a dip in the river early the next morning. A wonderful place to stay.

This site is great - the limit on campers means that you feel like you’re there alone even if you’re not. It’s quiet and peaceful and close enough to Bermagui for supplies. Dan and Lou were great and we would definitely come back again.

the camp was great, nice and private but stilll had a view of the house. it felt very safe. lots of wildlife around which made the camping atmosphere feel like in proper nature. only bad thing is the toilet smelled pretty bad by day 2.

A great site, private, grassy and flat with a fire pit already stocked. Easy access to the river for swimming. Easy reach to Eden and beyond so it makes a great touring base. Very welcoming hosts, met us at the entrance to the property and guided us directly to the site. Recommended.

Fantastic place to camp, swim and relax. Everything we needed - power, water, and the cleanest, nicest compost toilet we have ever seen! Jenny and Arthur obviously know what they’re doing and are very helpful if needed. Highly recommended.

Amazing place! It was perfect in every way for a total glamping experience (outdoor bath elevated the site to this level!). Norm was a great host. Being a dairy farm, there are a lot of flies - nature in action! We will definitely be back!

Another year, another glorious summer holiday at Tuross River Camping. This year we went for a hike down river and found some more beautiful swimming spots. We even saw a turtle! This place has it all — running water, flush toilets, hot showers (but honestly after a day swimming in the Tuross, who needs them?) and a brilliant sheltered camp kitchen. The roads were in good condition getting in and when the toilets needed resetting, Dwayne took our call (via Starlink thank you very much) and was super helpful. We love this place and we'll be back again next year. Also, a stop at Bodalla on the way home is always fun (pub lunch, the dairy and art gallery are great).

Congratulations to Norm and narelle. This place is amazing! The landscape is so beautiful it take your breath away. We sat for a long periods just taking in the scenery and the tranquility. It is so peaceful, with just the sounds of birds, and distant mooing of the cows. The facilities are fantastic - so much more than even a premium camping site. We spent 5 nights here and will definitely come back.

So good that we cancelled another booking to come back here! We found it very peaceful and relaxing. The Hosts (Dan and Lou) are lovely. Bermagui is only a short distance away for dog-friendly beaches, great food (Honorbread for bread and pastries!) and great coffee as well.

Plenty of space and options for camping - beautiful location with plenty of wildlife around. Short drive to beaches and all the amenities of Merimbula and Pambula. Excellent compostable toilets and option for a great hot shower (really appreciated!). Meredith is very welcoming and helpful.

Really nice spot kept beautifully. Felt like we were camped on a nice lawn not a paddock. Easy access to river which kids loved. Host was nice and helpful. Only unfortunate thing for us was, I’m assuming due to the massive rains the week before we arrived. The mosquitoes were insane at times. Other than that would definitely visit again.

We had a great time at Kiah Wilderness camp! The campsite was super spacious, and full of wildlife. Our kids had a great time spotting lots of animals around the site, and the river was the highlight. We used our inflatable boat to get across to the sandy bank and spent hours playing in the water and exploring the river bank. We had quite a few mozzies, but think that was more due to recent rain. A great campsite if you want large and private, great for groups. Thanks Jenny and Arthur!

Beautiful, peaceful and natural place with plenty of space between campsites. Lots of wildlife and friendly horses. Creek was great after some good rain. Hosts are friendly and helpful and even offer puppysitting too. Very close to beaches and shops and Merimbula town.
