We’re pet-friendly! Please note, however, that we are a working farm with ongoing activities and resident animals, including livestock and farm dogs, so all pets must be kept under control at all times. Aggressive, disruptive, or potentially dangerous dogs of any type are not allowed — especially restricted breeds (e.g. Pit Bulls, Bull Mastiffs). Only friendly dogs are permitted, and we reserve the right to ask you to leave if your dog is deemed unsafe or aggressive upon arrival. If you have any doubts, please message us prior to booking.
Also, please ensure kids are supervised at all times, particularly around the river. Lifejackets are recommended.
During your time here, visit the local farm gates in Tumut, Batlow, Tumbarumba, and Adelong for their delicious high-country produce. There are also some beautiful swimming spots and walks to discover in the region, as well as good facilities in town, including the local swimming pool and shopping centre. Enjoy a local brew and bite to eat at the Tumut brewery. Bahwidgee is just 3km from the Tumut town centre - so close you could ride in, or even walk.

Endor is a primitive camp site with cabin style accommodation. There are two bunkers which are set 25m apart and each bunker can accommodate 2 people Max. Basic single bed set up with basic linen however it is required that you bring your own temperature rated sleeping bag for seasonal Camps in winter and shoulder periods. The weather can change very quickly, and temperatures can drop to below zero with snow in Winter.

Our aim is to provide a comfortable bed in an alpine off grid setting for those who seek an experience in nature.

Located on the Batlow to Tumbarumba road at Deep Gully Bend (The Old Mill) site entrance. Endor is only 2km from the village of Batlow, nestled into steep hillside and surrounded by Alpine woodland. Endor is home to a large variation of wildlife including the endangered Greater Glider and other Squirrel Glider species. Wombats roam at night along with kangaroo, wallaby and deer migrating when in season. Powerful Owls, Gang Gang and many species from the parrot family are a spectacular sight along with morning and Twighlight Finch performances.
Endor is a primitive camp site with cabin style accommodation. There are two bunkers which are set 25m apart and each bunker can accommodate 2 people Max. Basic single bed set up with basic linen however it is required that you bring your own temperature rated sleeping bag for seasonal Camps in winter and shoulder periods. The weather can change very quickly, and temperatures can drop to below zero with snow in Winter.
Campfires are allowed during the winter season and each bunker has a fire pit.
Our aim is to provide a comfortable bed in an alpine off grid setting for those who seek an experience in nature.
Located on Batlow Road you will experience some road traffic noise and log truck activity during peak hours in the morning and afternoon. A small reminder that you are still close to civilization.

Very nice spot with 3 camping areas separated by about 100 meters or so, providing a good amount of privacy.
Easy access to the river, which is nice and cold even during a heat wave! River is fast moving in some places so something to consider if swimming with kids. We were there in an off road caravan with a total length of about 12 meters with the car and plenty of room to manoeuvre.
Campfires were allowed but was a tad hot when we went. Was a nice little fire teepee set up for us ready to go, with kindling and a small supply of wood provided by the owner which was a nice gesture :-)
Overall a great stay and will definitely be back.

this is one of the best hi-camp we've ever been in.
Leah is such a wonderful host, keen to share with us what she does, with her garden, chicks (160 chicks !!) - we could cook a great omelet with fresh eggs ! fruit trees of various types... etc, This is a small bit of paradise. The view is gorgeous, it is quiet, you have access to shower/toilets inside her house.
We highly recommend and would certainly come back if we are around !

What a fantastic place to stay. We stayed at Riverbend and it was fantastic to pick your spot right on the river. The stars at night are brilliant, so bright in the sky. It is not crowded and you can feel like you are all alone. Sheryl was a great host.

One of the largest towns in the Riverina, Wagga Wagga is a handy place from which to explore the Riverina as there are a variety of different camping options and lots of foodie experiences all in one place. As well as holiday parks, campers can stay at farmstays, to get an up-close experience of the Riverina’s agricultural and horticultural culture. While it’s an inland city, Wagga Wagga is on the Murrumbidgee River and has an attractive sandy river beach with shady trees, barbeque areas, and swimming spots.
Griffith
Wine enthusiasts might want to head straight to Griffith in the Riverina, a town with many wineries and cellar doors where you can sample the local drop. There are well-equipped caravan parks around the town, where you can find camping facilities for all budgets and service needs, as well as more simple, rural campsites not far from Griffith and around Lake Wyangan to the north of town.
Albury
This NSW–Victoria border town sits north of the Murray River. As well as attractions like botanic gardens, an art gallery, and kids’ playgrounds within Albury, campers in the area can also check out Lake Hulme, where the Murray River is dammed. Nature reserves are set at various points along the lake, while a holiday park sits at Lake Hume Village. As Albury and Lake Hume are on the Victoria border, this area is a good jumping-off point for exploring the nearby state parks in Victoria, such as Mount Granya and Mount Lawson State Parks.
Mungo National Park
