Great spot, peaceful and quiet, surrounded by horses, chickens and ducks- perfect 👌. Close to the house but not a problem, no noise or intrusion. Bathroom close by. Great hosts. Easy cycle into town. Would choose to stay here again. Feeding carrots to the horses was my highlight ✨️

We really enjoyed our stay. The site is very private, nice and shady, close to the hosts house but you would not know. The amenities were nice and clean and Christine gave us clear instructions on how to get there and a warm welcome on arrival. Just remember to pack a converter as the power is via a standard 10amp. Definitely would stay again if travelling through Tamworth again.

I had the most magical time away at the Oakenville Farm Bell Tent. What a blissful adventure. From the beautiful Birdlife to the quirky chickens every part of my stay here felt like a home away from home. The lovely Rachel could not have been a more hospitable host, she was always around if you needed a hand or just a good old chat (which I definitely loved to do😂). The best way to spend the long weekend and get away to totally switch off. The tent was beautiful, comfortable and spacious, filled with plenty of blankets and a small heater to stay warm during the cold nights. I highly recommend this beautiful location to anyone who wishes to get away without having to organise anything except food and transport. Thank you so much to the beautiful people I met along the way on this peaceful adventure. It's definitely one I will cherish ❤️✨

Lovely little farm. 2 friendly dogs and Rachel is very friendly as well. If your not a fan of roosters its not ideal but if you're like me and love the chooks, ducks and dogs it's a great spot to stay. Not to far from town so it's a nice 1 kilometre walk into town.

Rachel was very friendly and helpful.Loved our little getaway.Bed was comfortable and plenty of blankets to keep us warm .Bath and shower were charming with plenty of hot water.Kitchen basic but that was fine for us to cook breakfast.Only a 1km walk to pub for dinner and out and about for lunch.Did not use camp fire but there was plenty of wood available.Maybe take your camp esky to store your food and drinks..Dont forget to try the donuts up the Main Street.

The instructions to get there were easy to follow and even though we got there late they were great communicators. Jane and her daughter stopped for a chat when they dropped firewood off for us. We loved camping on Clare’s property, it was so easy to communicate with her and she responded almost immediately to any questions that we had. We also bought some of her beautiful farm fresh eggs! We would definitely recommend staying here 💕

Maiden Jewel is beautiful natural Australian bush mixed in with stunning camping areas The horses are amazing, too have the cattle wondering freely about the property is spectacular And the natural wildlife all around it doesn’t get much better. We will definitely be back
