Ear plugs are available for light sleepers if required. Great to have such a quiet place to ourselves with lovely views. Also great to have access to power for our e-bikes a little lounge area to escape the heat and the flies that were around that day. A little expensive for just 2 of us but would be cheap for groups. Excellent instructions And easy to access.

Weekend Trip to Retreat to Granite Springs Farmstay

We had an amazing stay! Sally and her wonderful family made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. Their property is beautiful and perfect for camping plenty of space, peaceful farm surroundings, and lots of friendly animals. My 9-year-old had an absolute blast spending time near the horses, goats, the sweetest dogs, and spotting native birds. A special mention to Sally’s son, who became the best “local guide” my boy could ask for. He was an incredibly lovely, friendly, and super polite young gentleman "truly a highlight of our stay". We stayed in a powered site close to the farm, which was super convenient, but they also offer unpowered sites that are a bit more private if you prefer a quieter spot. Both options are great. I honestly couldn’t recommend this place more. It’s a fantastic experience for families and anyone who wants a relaxed and welcoming farm-style camping getaway. We’ll definitely be returning!

Carole was a friendly and generous host. I was given wood, eggs, oranges, spinach and even a salve for my sprained ankle. My camp site, situated at the bottom of their back garden, was right on the creek and felt like a bush setting. Plenty of animals -peacocks, geese, goats, chooks, to see, but not unfortunately the elusive platypus. But they did set up a TV documentary on platypus for to watch at my convenience. Definitely recommend their Farmstay.

We had such a fantastic stay at Granite Springs Farmstay near Chiltern. From the moment we arrived, Sally was incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming, and instantly made us feel comfortable. We stayed at Farmstay Site 4A, which was very easy to access and had plenty of room for our setup. The site was private, peaceful, and powered, and we loved being right near a paddock where we could watch the horses and foals playing throughout the day. Sitting outside and watching the sun set over the property was genuinely stunning. The whole atmosphere felt safe, relaxed, and completely stress free. Hearing the gentle nays of the horses added to the charm in the best way. Our kids had an absolute blast meeting and feeding the horses and goats, and they have not stopped talking about the friendly farm animals since we got home. They are already asking when we can come back for a longer stay. A big highlight was swimming at the waterhole, which the kids adored. Sally also took us on a lovely little tour of the vegetable patches, and we even got to try some fresh guinea fowl eggs, which were so tasty. The farm was easy to find, the price was fantastic, and everything felt genuine, warm, and full of country hospitality. We would recommend Granite Springs Farmstay to absolutely anyone looking for a real farm experience. We only stayed one night this time, but we cannot wait to return and spend even more time there.

Blackwood cabin is in such a beautiful spot, it was so peaceful to listen to the nearby river and birds. The cabin is very cosy with the fireplace inside and very well appointed. Communication with Sally leading into the stay was outstanding. On arrival, we were shown to our site and given a brief about where we could walk/hang out on the property. The farm tour was unreal and the general level of hospitality shown was outstanding. Would recommend to anyone looking for a farm stay in the area.
