Take a right turn as soon as you drive through the cream concrete entrance gates and follow the road down to the large cream shed. Here you will find manicured park-like gardens with a large dam - big enough to kayak on! We run an organic cattle property and have found a few spots around our farm to share with campers and glampers. Our campsites are "Beyond the Bridge" and "Old Flat Camp". Both are on cattle paddocks and have private access to Hydes Creek. Hydes Creek is a murky sandy base creek. There's lots of logs so its not recommend to jump in, but it's beautiful to cool off in the creek on a hot day. Both campsites have access to our compost toilet, and camping shower (gas hot water). If you prefer a bit more comfort or don't have your own camping gear, you can escape the hustle and enjoy being perched up on one of the highest points on the farm (with incredible views), in our Farm Huts. From vertiginous sandstone cliffs on which epipetrics cling tight, right through to palm-filled rainforests, and with two quite different creek systems (including a monster waterfall), you'll be spoiled for things to do and places to explore - without even leaving the property! HISTORY This land is Gumbaynggirr land. Please be particularly mindful of our First Nation's long presence on this land. In the 1800's, white men came seeking Red Cedar, closely followed by settlers having a go at dairying; though logging has remained this area's mainstay. And many more are continuing to grow out too. Ultimately they failed to set good commercial fruit, and the rootstocks took over. You can see remnant rows of these trees just south of the property, from along the road. Due to capital requirement and for the convenience of existing residents, the upgrade will be undertaken in multiple stages. The road will be concreted after all infrastructure are installed. HISTORY This land is Gumbaynggirr land. Please be particularly mindful of our First Nation's long presence on this land. In the 1800's, white men came seeking Red Cedar, closely followed by settlers having a go at dairying; though logging has remained this area's mainstay. This special property, despite last being selectively logged about 50 years ago, hosts many huge old-growth trees remaining steadfast for your discovery and wonder. And many more are continuing to grow out too. About 35 years ago about nine of this property's eastern-most 104 acres became part of a far larger nashi pear orchard which filled much of the flats of this top end of the valley that you see today. Ultimately they failed to set good commercial fruit, and the rootstocks took over. You can see remnant rows of these trees just south of the property, from along the road. (Beware though - they have spikes that could puncture Caterpillar tracks!) MORE RECENTLY extensive lantana control efforts have been undertaken as we now move into revegetating with native species and implementing a permaculture plan. Today the property is registered with Land For Wildlife and hosts a very wide mix of native vegetation communities. ACTIVITIES Bird watch. Climb. Abseil. Photograph wildflowers. Paint. Swim. Great spot by the river, we took our dogs on a kayak down the river and they loved it 😁Cleanest composting toilet I've ever seen! Arne gave us plenty of time to settle in after our arrival time before coming down for a quick check-in and home-grown spinach delivery. The spot is close to Battery falls, and nested in beautiful forest which he gave us a brief history of. It felt secluded enough, but we had a good chat with some locals by the river who'd spotted a platypus not 20m from the road crossing! The fireflies surrounding the camp were pretty magical too. Would recommend 🌞

Booked a powered site and directions to the grounds were adequate. Great grassy areas and level ground for our van. Toilet, shower and laundry facilities were very good and clean. Great hot showers. Bug spray a definite as HUGE horseflies/marchflies. Amazing fire flies in the bushes at night which moved out over the camp ground when things were settled. Great covered picnic table areas and kids playground. Very limited to no phone service- wifi on the corner or picnic area but still limited. 5minutes drive towards Coffs you could get good coverage if you really need it but it was great to escape from all that. Only 1 other couple there for our 3 night stay so very peaceful.

What an amazing spot very private and one with nature. Make sure you turn right before you start heading up the hill into the banana farm as Google Maps will take you. This is not the right way. There was a couple baby spiders as expected but the space was perfect and we even had a beautiful peacock come to visit us!!! (We call him Freddy)

Hacketts Haven is our 68 acre property, located near Copmanhurst which boasts your own exclusive panoramic view overlooking the Clarence River. The site is approximately 14 metres clear/elevated from the river (which makes it very safe if the river was to rise above minor or moderate flooding). A truly unique camping experience overlooking the wide spanse of the Clarence only a short distance from the small village of Copmanhurst, perfect for a group booking of up to 20. Enjoy your own private site with a sandy beach @40m below site, east of the Copmanhurst boat ramp. Take a walk down the steepish soft sandy cattle tracks to the waters edge and enjoy yourself. Note: Sand can be very hot! Obedient dogs permitted and that they are on a lead or under control with livestock or cattle dogs around. No amenities so campers need to BYO everything they need and leave no trace. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place - check with host. NOTE: No treated wood to be brought or burnt on the property The Rest Point Hotel sells bags of firewood. As per Hipcamp guidelines, be fire safe, dispose of garbage responsibly and leave no trace. The grass is left lush for the roaming cattle to enjoy, however we will endeavour to slash the 40+ acres and/or whipper-snip around firepits when possible. Never Never Park is a Sub-Tropical Rainforest property which borders the ancient Gondwana World Heritage National Park on 2 sides including along Coopernook creek. Located half an hours drive Northeast of Dorrigo and 1 hour West of Coffs Harbour (via Eastern Dorrigo Way) in the beautiful Bellingen Shire, surrounded by various National Parks with 4WD tracks, crystal clear creeks, waterfalls, cascades, swimming holes and picnic areas. First surveyed in 1906 and logged in the days of bullocks and hand saws, remnants of a bygone era remain including the “Jack Feeney Memorial Giant Tallowwood Tree”, a Champion Tree of Australia listed in the National Register of Big Trees. It’s over 50m tall, more than 1000 years old, and was around long before Captain Cook reached our shores. The landscape starts in dense Sub-Tropical Rainforest opening up to lush green pastures overlooking the amazing views to the west showcasing hedge-rowed rolling hillsides and 1600m high mountain range towards Marengo. The local fauna is amazing and quite rare, featuring the locals of the Gondwana Rainforests, Koala’s, Wallabies, Paddy Melons, Lyre Birds, Satin Bower Birds, Glossy Black Cockatoo’s, King parrots, Crimson Rosella’s, Wedgetail Eagles, Catbirds, Riflebirds, Fairy wrens, Diamond pythons, Water dragons, Giant Panda snails, Glow Worms, Fire Flys and many more… including our Horses, Cows, Chooks and Bees. Similarly, the flora is very diverse including Native Tall Hardwoods, various types of Palms and tree ferns, Rainforest and flowering Trees, Vines, flowering grasses, Stag Elk horns and other epiphytes, Crows nests, Mosses, Orchids and more. Winegrove is our home base for our working beef cattle properties which includes our small hardwood timber mill. Winegrove consists of 656 acres. The 2 Winegrove campsites are located along 1.2km overlooking the pristine Clarence river exclusively spaced @ 500m apart. P2 and P3 also have great views and are sheltered and private. Note: Fig Tree Lookout P2 is out of flood levels and can be accessed by high clearance 2WD, however we do recommend having 4WD just in case during wet conditions. Boulder Bay P3, which has ONLY 4WD access, can flood during a major flood in the Clarence river, however you can park/camp higher up when wet. [Note: Hacketts Haven is our new property, located near Copmanhurst which boasts your own exclusive panoramic view overlooking the Clarence River. The site is approximately 13-14 metres clear/elevated from the river.] Obedient pets permitted and that they are on a lead or under control with livestock or cattle dogs around.
