Our 4 acre property is located near the small town of Nelligen which is on the beautiful Clyde River and is one of Australia's nicest rivers. We are offering one large grassy site so campers will be surrounded by open space and nature whilst also having plenty on privacy when staying on our property. Access to the Clyde River, Cafes, local pub and Boat ramp are all within walking distance. Our property is also a great place for Trail bike riders to base themselves as we have endless trails out in the mountains behind us.The hosts and their family are very friendly and love animals. On the property you will find cats, dogs, chickens and lots of kangaroos. You’re very welcome to bring your pets and we have a really nice lock-up yard and dog/cat house if you’d like to venture out without your animals for the day. A fire pit is provided so you can enjoy a campfire each evening. La Estancia Hideaway was the perfect place for a 3 night break away. It's spacious, surrounded by trees, quiet and very, very comfortable. A fresh and clean bathroom, huge amenities shed and even an open air bath. Our host, Magali, was welcoming and communicative. Highly recommended and we'll be back.

Picture yourself in a warm outdoor bath with a glass of your favourite drink in one hand and a book in the other surrounded by the gentle rustling of leaves and the soothing sounds of birdsong.

this place is so amazing along with the host - it’s an absolute hidden treasure that once you know you will return - it’s in a great spot for exploring the Jervis Bay Area - it has the best communal area and an outdoor bath in the forest that is private to your booking - I almost don’t want to review this because I want to make sure I get to revisit !! But Magali and her place need a shout out as she has poured so much love into creating a beautiful camping experience :)

So first of all I want to say: ROB IS THE G.O.A.T! We booked our site and arrived quite late, Rob was super nice and helped direct us to our campsite. The site itself was super nice and we were able to get a good nights sleep. The property is not far away shops and in just an absolutely prime spot. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Nello campsite was a great spot for an overnight stop. Nice level area and available amenities. There is easy access to the main road and walk to the river at nelligen. Nice quiet camp area, Rob wasn’t there but his son was polite and helpful. I would definitely camp there again. Thanks Rob

Our stay was absolutely incredible! The place is gorgeous, the camping areas are super private, and if you book the bathtub… OMG, it’s perfect after a hot beach day. The communal area is beautiful and has everything you need for cooking, having a coffee and storing your food — plus the cutest little possums watching you at night like tiny fluffy supervisors. And the bathroom with the shower? A solid 10/10, no notes. Magali was an amazing host — super attentive, kind, and just lovely overall! We 100% recommend it. We already decided we’re coming back for a couple more days at the start of next year 😁✨

It was a beautifully spacious place for our two pups to run around freely, as the property was fenced (if not the individual camping areas). The vibe was quiet and calm - exactly what we wanted for our first time ever camping as a family. Jacqui was very responsive to any queries, and replied quickly over the app.

Rob has created a beautiful little camp site set amongst the green rolling hills. We stayed for 5 days as our base to explore the Batemans Bay area. The little Nello town and pub both in walking distance were great to explore.
