The campground is tucked away in a little valley overlooking an idyllic stretch of windy river with an amazing swimming hole, sandy beach, tranquil rapids and a beautiful, mesmerising, majestic rock.
We have four primative campsites suited to all types of large and small, self sufficient campers in RV's, caravans, camp trailers, vans and tents. All sites are unique and positioned to enhance space and privacy as well as proximity and views of the river. They all showcase the varying, natural beauty and characteristics of the landscape.
You can also book our amazing, award winning glamping tent.
We are not a party campsite. Our little slice of paradise is for peace and relaxation. We also need to respect and encourage the presence and abundance of birds and animals and continue to ensure it is a peaceful and quiet home for them. You can enjoy your music just as long as other campsites and the local wildlife can't hear it.
Manilla, only 20 minutes away has two dump points and water refill stations as well as a good number of shops to cater to all your needs during your stay.
We are not in a high traffic area so you may get to enjoy having the place all to yourself.
Our campsites have good access for all types of camp set ups and are not impacted by flooding. Nor do they become boggy in wet weather due to the high sand content in our soil.
You could be sitting on the warm sandy bank overlooking the river and being captivated by the surrounding beauty and the magnificence of the swimming hole.
This secret little piece of paradise has been untouched for 40 years and is home to an abundance of birdlife. Birds include the colourful Rainbow bee eaters, Kingfishers, Superb Fairy Wrens, Eastern Yellow Robins, Red Browed Finch and many more.
A magical place that will delight your senses and make you feel relaxed and at peace.

Great spot just a short drive from Tamworth. The amenities were excellent — proper toilets and hot showers, plus access to a great swimming pool which was a real bonus. The site itself is level and easy to set up a camper, which made everything stress-free. The host was friendly and welcoming, regularly checking in to make sure everything was going well. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again.

We loved the location and peace and quiet of our short visit at the Oakey farm. The spectacular night sky was vision that wasn’t missed even my 6 year old.
The warm welcome and facilities were more than we could imagine.
Directions to the sites was clear and easy.

Absolutely lovely camp site that we would definitely recommend! There's no designated spots, but we were lucky as there was only us and one other set of campers that were there for the night, and the site is big enough that we were far away from each other and never heard them (or could even see them as we set our camp up facing the water). The site was beautiful, with so many birds around (and the odd rogue cow that came to say hello), with an amazing sunset as a bonus. I'd definitely book a stay here again!

We had a great stay at Debrah’s. The paddock was well kept and we loved our view over the landscape, watching the flocks of birds. We were lucky to have a clear still night under an amazing canopy of stars. Incredible!
The two flushing toilets were clean and well maintained.
Debrah showed us the goats a their week old kids, so adorable.

We absolutely loved staying at Sheffield farm, would have loved to stay longer. Our daughter was excited to meet the cats, pony's, chicken and baby goats. The owners were very helpful and provided an extension lead so we could camp a little further out from the other campers. Would recommend!!

Lovely place to stay, stunning views and lovely and peaceful. 10 mins out from Tamworth but restaurant and bar at the end of road. Field is well maintained, facilities are clean and lots of hot water in the shower. Owners are friendly. Overall it was perfect for us for a overnight stop. Would definitely recommend this place.
