Hi, an update: please note that due to roadworks in Mullumbimby, the Council is diverting southbound traffic out of that town along Myocum Rd, thus there will be increased traffic at commute times. Your campsite is on a grassy knoll of Myocum Farm with sweeping views of farmland and the Byron lighthouse in the distance. You will be the sole visitors and thus have all the space and amenities to yourself. Your onsite amenities include: a firepit with benches and table, bbq plates, free kindling, firewood available to buy, a hot private outdoor shower, your own flushing toilet, a tap and handsoap, a bucket and hose, bins for recycling and rubbish, a swing, and a small cubbyhut with board games and a bocce and cricket set. Please note our rates are very competitive and cover 3 visitors in our base rate. During your stay you can just kick back and relax overlooking the farm which produces beef cattle and fingerlimes, but with the convenient distance to towns and beaches, you can also use it as a base to very easily explore all the region has to offer: Byron Bay and Bangalow (15 mins), Brunswick Heads (10 mins), and Mullumbimby (6 mins), all offering great dining, local market, and retail experiences. the area has a plethora of activities to pursue: swimming, walking, fishing, great surfing, sea kayaking, ballooning, skydiving, horseriding, golf (eg renowned Ocean Shores golf club is 20 minutes away), and the wonderful rail trail for bikers or walkers can be accessed at Mooball, a picturesque 20 min drive away or try out the new mountain bike trail at the vey pretty township of Uki in the hinterland. Beautiful waterfalls are less than a half hour drive away. There are local businesses who can help you pursue these kinds of activities if you don't bring your own equipment.

Coorabell creek farmstay is 30acres of hilly country made up of a mixture of forests, gullys, creeks and horse paddocks. the main camping site is the creek flat in a large shady area with a swimming hole in the freshwater springfed creek with campfire and log seats. there is an alternative camping site for wet weather in the front stone circle paddock 50mtrs from the creek bank. this area is a grassed paddock with morning shade but full sun throughout the day. there is no mobile reception on the property but a short walk up the driveway a few hundred meters away you can get reception at the property entrance should you need to make calls or get/snd msgs.. Property is located 8mins from the Pacific highway, 10mins from Mullumbimby or 18mins from Byron bay township pubs, restaurants and surfing beaches. Approximately 20mins drive to Brunswick heads surfing beaches or Byron surfing beaches. National parks for hiking or horse riding within 20mins drive. Can accommodate 2 horses in paddocks ($10per horse per night.) and parking space for horse float should you wish to bring your horses and enjoy some trails or beach riding in the area, I can give more information on places to ride on request. other activities that can be booked at additional cost include Didgeridoo Making workshops for adults and didgeridoo painting workshops for kids. this is a full day activity for adults and a half day activity for kids doing didgeridoo painting workshops. please enquire for more info and prices. We so enjoyed our 3 nights at the farm. Allan and Ngaire are very welcoming. This place is above and beyond what is expected at a Hipcamp. Hot shower with a view and immaculately clean toilet facilities, fire pits benches to enjoy the view. Well kept lawn. Views everywhere. We had heaps of space. We will be back for sure.

Gorgeous spot, so peaceful and with incredible views. The toilet, outdoor shower and playroom are fantastic. My 4 year old spent most of her time in there, and the hosts even put out pictures for her to colour in which we so appreciated. All this plus the bonus swing, fire pits and benches. We are planning our return trip already, honestly couldn’t fault it. Highly recommend!

"The Island" is beautiful spot surrounded by a nice strech of the creek. The kids had a great time playing and exploring. A peaceful and quiet spot very close to Tweed Heads, although we didn't encounter another person the entire weekend, just how we like it! We'd go back here again for the tranquility and convenience. Highly recommended for a short stay.

Tristan is a great host. He gave very clear instructions to get to the camping spot. His property is amazing! The camping spot is beautiful. There's a lovely flat area with a fire pit and the creek running past. We had a bit of rain the night we stayed but the driveway down is very well made so there were no issues getting out. There's a composting toilet for convenience. There's no phone reception for Telstra or Optus down there so it made it perfect to reconnect with partner. Our dog loved it so much too. So many smells for her to find! We will absolutely be back. Thanks Tristan!

Wonderful night stay! Despite being reasonably close to Allan’s house, it was so private and quiet. Love the swing, picnic table, and cubby house, but the selling point was the HOT shower under the stars! 🤩 Such a calming place to unwind overlooking the cow paddocks and mountains.

I had such a lovely and peaceful stay here. I had the whole place to myself (except for the cows) which was a real treat. Quite a well kept property too. I’ve got a Toyota Corolla and that handled the 3 creek crossings and dirt roads pretty well. Just make sure to check if it 2WD safe when you arrive as I don’t think I could have gotten through if the water was any higher. The only negative feedback I have is that the directions were a little confusing and the address the owner gave me was different to the location on Hipcamp (address from owner is correct). I was also woken up at 6am to some construction work going on which lasted all morning until I left at 11:30 ish. Overall, a lovely stay and I’m sure I’ll be back ☺️

Once you enter the Treehouse private drive you will feel yourself being transported into a magical world of gently flowing water, natural light, tall trees, chirping birds, rustling leaves, crickets, and frogs. You will notice the energy shift into the safe embrace of our land, protected by Springbrook Mountain. The location of the Treehouse was chosen by our then young children. We all fell in love with the magnificent camphor laurel tree growing at the edge of the seasonal creek. We all found ourselves drawn to that place, so with the help of our friends and our children we began the project of manifesting a dream into a reality - the dream of living in the tree canopy. As we worked on the Treehouse, the design was constantly changing. The whole family, especially our youngest son, contributed to the manifestation of the dream. During that time we overcame many obstacles and found solutions to build in the tree. It was an adventure, a lot of fun and we learnt a lot. It became a dwelling for our kids for a period of time, until they grew up and left to conquer the big wide world. Now it is here for you to enjoy, to reconnect with your dreams, to dive deep into your childhood playful memories where the world of fantasy and reality merge together. Here you can just be yourself, embraced by nature and view at the world from your Treehouse verandah. THE RED CABIN We are also proud of our very special Red Cabin with its magnificent mountain view. it has been created with dedication and love. And again it is thanks to our daughter this time. She has found the perfect spot for you so you can immerse yourself in nature in the shade of lovely trees, taking flight with the eagles above Springbrook Mountain, lifting up and rejoicing life. The vibrant tantric red colour of the cabin will fill you up with new energy and freshness. it is supplied with clean, luxurious linen and towels. The daring bathroom allows you to bask in a bubble bath while enjoying your favourite beverage watching the stars. That beautiful experience will be enhance by the symphony of the surrounding nature. The cooking and dining area is set up for your highest comfort and equipped with everything you need. All vehicles entering the park must observe 10 Km per hour speed limit. Fires must be extinguished prior to departure. Do not burn your rubbish. It must be taken with you! Stonesthrow is a 106 acre rural property in the peaceful Illinbah Valley. Nestled between Beechmont and Canungra, we are about an hour (a stones throw) from the Gold Coast or Brisbane. Over time, the property has been used to farm goats, train racing camels and spell racehorses and is now a family hobby farm. We currently have three dogs, cows, horses, goats and some friendly donkeys who love to meet new people for some pats and a carrot! We offer a choice of sites- either Lower Sites close to the beautiful shallow creek that meanders its way through the property or Elevated Sites with views of the valley. LOWER SITES have access to facilities- toilets, a powered shed, kettle, fridge and a sink. Most sites offer 2WD access yet still facilitate the experience of camping in the bush. These are the only sites that caravans can access. ELEVATED SITES have stunning views of the valley. These sites are only accessible by capable 4WD and require you to bring your own sealed, chemical camping toilet and ensuite tent which we sight on arrival before allowing guests access to the track. Check-in must be during daylight hours to enable safe access. Off-road camper trailers can access these sites. When submitting a booking request, select either a Lower Site or Elevated Site. Please include your vehicle make and model, camping setup (tent/swag/camper trailer), type of toilet and ensuite tent (if requesting an elevated site) and number of occupants (adults, children, dogs). Friendly dogs are welcome and must be kept on a lead when in close proximity to the cottage and other campers. Please note, the availability of certain sites is weather dependant. We are not a 4WD adventure park. Vehicles must be left at your campsite and NOT used to explore the property. Exploration of the property is welcome by foot or bicycle: 1.2 km from bottom to top. Due to insurance considerations, no 'day visitors' are allowed unless they have an approved Hipcamp booking. We are a Leave No Trace campground - ensure what you bring in, leaves with you.
