Depending on where you camp as far as access to the toilets goes, you could be anywhere from 20 metres to 500 metres from the facilities. Water is also in close proximity as well depending on where u setup. You are welcome to enjoy a campfire, within local regulations. There is plenty of wildlife around, including kangaroos. and birdlife. Close to Lake Abortree, a 70 acre inland lake. Only 6kms from village of Ariah Park- whichlikes to describe itself as a town of 'bowsers, wowsers and peppercorn trees'. There is something delightfully timeless about the town: the wide main street with the tree-lined median strip; the old shops with their verandas; the quietness and peacefulness. The town is listed by the National Trust as a Conservation Area.
