The area has a lot of old gold mines within a 5 kilometre walk and many bike trails surrounded by mostly thick trees. Take your mountain bike on the old gold mining tracks which some would say are 4x4 trails but I have a station wagon and if you go slow it's ok. Turn right at Bush Pixie Mating Circle in Google Maps. This campsite has access to drinking water and a toilet (but no shower). There is access to rubbish facilities. Relax by the crackling fire in the evenings. Amazing private retreat with lovely elevated views and surrounded by a beautiful landscape. We had a resident bunny, a joey and mum for company in the day, a possum up in the trees at night. We were well settled down in our campervan with access to a power and water point. Hugely grateful to our wonderful host, Kelly who was super helpful with great tips on stops on our journey down and visits at Jindabyne. Thanks to her, I got my first snow experience at Charlotte Pass. Thanks Kelly, for hosting us. We certainly will be back!

Awesome little spot for a quiet break or a good home base for the mountains, hosts are lovely and the sites are easy to get in and out from and very well setup. Had a great time coming home in the afternoon from a day in the snow and winding down around the fire. A bonus was the power, water and wifi, but the best part was the site attendant peacock coming around to check on everyone.

We loved our stay. Our camping area was at the back of the block with a space big enough to accomodate our 19ft expands caravan. Power and water a short distance away. The view was great. Contact with the host was easy. I would recommend this and we will return.

We had an amazing week at Jaccary rocks. Great location not far from town. We chose morning sun site but in actual fact we had all day sun. The wildlife was beautiful to see. Our puppy loved being on a long lead with plenty of safe ground to explore. Our welcome fire already set, ready to light at our convenience was a nice touch. We loved it so much we will definitely return. Sinikka it was lovely to meet you and look forward to our next visit.

Great location to stay for snow day trips with young kids, we loved this spot and the morning sun each morning. Hosts were friendly and welcoming and lent us their toboggans to use at the snow. Fire built on arrival ready to go, having power and water hook up was great for the winter time. Would love to visit again, thank you for having us!
