Tom’s Run is located on the Cobb Highway, 8 kilometres from the town of Deniliquin. The land has been managed through organic farming practices over more than 20 years. We run alpaca and dorper sheep.
The farmland dries off in October, over long, hot summers, and greens up with autumn rain and/or irrigation from April each year. Hot summer days and nights. Winter mornings can begin with a frost.
Deniliquin has many tourist destinations and the Edward River is popular for fishing, swimming and water sports in summer.
Eastern Grey kangaroos and abundant bird life inhabit the land as do many other native fauna. Our property features interesting native flora including canoe/scar trees. We often have magnificent sunsets, so bring your camera.
Enjoy campfires in the evenings. Campfires are permitted when not in fireban season, or according restrictions.
We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower and water. You must have your own amenities.
Alpacas are curious creatures that tend to turn up to investigate farm activity - it’s therefore likely that they will visit your camp.

Without a doubt, the best Hipcamp we have stayed so far! We are full time travellers, 2 humans and 4 dogs! A 19’6 fully off road can, towed by an NPS truck. Upon arrival, our host Noel offered us a choice of sites and we chose Maple. A fully fenced gated site, with power and water, perfect for our dogs and our set up. It’s a huge private site. There’s a toilet and big kitchen area, a washing machine and pool, we were offered use of. Noel is a wonderful host, extremely accommodating and very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend and will return.

This camp is one of the nicest we've seen,with all the amenities you would expect from a top caravan park only in a much more private setting, lush green grass sites even an enclosed private camp where you can let your pet roam free all day, Noel was a pleasure to deal with giving plenty of information on local attractions and things to do. Wish we stayed longer and highly recommend to anyone and everyone.

We could close off a gate to let our dog Murphy run around freely after spending 8 hours in a car. Noel met us on arrival and showed us around including access to to a well maintained amenity. We loved our time in Michelle's Well Paddock. Flat sites, plenty of quiet space and shady trees. Short walk to the river. Best of all, one of the koala locals was campled in a tree just outside the van and didn't mind all the photos.
Michelle was a great host and checked in daily to make sure we were set up and sorted.

We really enjoyed our stay at this peaceful and private campsite. One of the highlights was spotting two koalas in the wild — such a special experience. Each morning we woke up to birdsong and kangaroos around the van, which made the stay feel beautifully connected to nature.
The host was friendly and happy to answer any questions, and we appreciated the large fire pit available for use.
Something to be aware of is that the property is surrounded by orchards, and the neighbouring properties use a machine that makes a loud noise regularly from early in the morning to scare off birds. It didn’t ruin our stay, but it’s worth noting for light sleepers.
Overall, a memorable and scenic place to stay with plenty of wildlife and great privacy.

Great quiet spot not far from town. We booked quite late and last minute but Michelle was happy to accommodate us and even did a quick mow of the site for us. Level clearing amongst the trees with plenty of kangaroos and ducks around made for an excellent and safe place to camp for the night.

Could I recommend this place? YES.
Can I truly put into words how good it is? Probably not… but I’ll try.
The family is so passionate about what they do. The care, love, and knowledge they have for their animals is incredible – especially seeing the kids so involved in running the place.
The spacing between the sites is great, and the areas are nice and flat too, which made setting up super easy.
As an avid photographer, I actually didn’t take many photos because I was so immersed in the experience and in their stories. Getting to handle the Highland cows was something I’ll never forget.
An easy 5 stars from me. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

What a great place. The site is level with really easy access for all size caravans. Plenty of trees for shade and open space for your solar. A great fire pit to enjoy and plenty of wildlife including koalas. The hosts are fantastic and will help with anything you need or leave you in peace. We brought our horses up and had a great time. 6min drive to Kyabram for restocking, 2min drive or 10min walk to the river

An unforgettable weekend at Red Rock Farm!
Our stay at Red Rock Farm this past long weekend was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family. The highland cattle were even more beautiful in person, and the experience of patting and grooming the calves was a highlight for all of us — especially the girls, who were completely smitten! (Jayde was even more so — she couldn’t stop smiling and laughing the whole time! 🤣🐮)
We also loved exploring the property and spotting kangaroos, emus, and even koalas — such a treat! Our hosts were warm, knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home. Their son Lachlan was amazing — so friendly, patient, and happy to answer all our questions about the cattle and the farm.
The evening roast around the campfire was a true highlight — delicious food, great company, and a sky full of stars. It was the perfect way to end each day.
We’re already looking forward to chatting with them about getting our own highlands next year. Thank you to everyone at Red Rock Farm for an experience we’ll never forget! ❤️🔥🐮
