Tejn Loft Private Group Campsite

6 sites · RVs, Tents13 acres · Upper Mac Donald, NSW
You can enjoy Tejn Loft, 13 acres of undulating grass and trees, situated 108 km north of Sydney, near the famous Settlers Arms Pub in St Albans and next to the Yengo National Park. ***Tejn Loft is designed for group getaways. Your group can hire Tejn Loft so you can all enjoy the property for private camping without any other groups or campers on the property. *** REQUIREMENT: Minimum 2 night stay, for groups of 6 adults or adults/children mix equivalent to 6 adults. In a beautiful rural setting bordering the MacDonald river, you will have exclusive use during your stay, including a full kitchen (cooker, kettle, microwave, fridge-freezer & dishwasher), fire pit, and BBQ. We have one flushing toilet and an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. The site is offered to one group only. Please note Tejn Loft is not a place for loud or rowdy parties. You are very welcome to come and enjoy yourselves and take in the peace and noise nature provides with your friends and family. Pets are welcome but please refer to the rules. The land where Tejn Loft stands was originally built by my father Flemming Falk, who moved to Australia from Tejn in Denmark in 1974. Our family has enjoyed the land and the location near St Albans for many years and we would now like to share it with you and your friends and family.

Brightwater

1 site · RV, Tent50 acres · Kulnura, NSW
Brightwater sits beside Olney State Forest and Kuluwan Flora Reserve. It is a 50-acre farm with a lovely spring-fed dam, with our nearby campsite. The site contains van parking, an open pavilion, an open deck by the stream, a fire pit, and a dunny. It is private and secluded, and with just one group staying at a time, you are guaranteed the space to yourselves. There are many beautiful walking and bike trails in the area. Lots of wildlife to meet, including water dragons, wild ducks, and pythons, to name a few. There is also nearby evidence of the original occupants, the Darkinjung people. You are also welcome to bring a couple of horses! There's a safe paddock with a trough and nice trails in the area to explore. The Kulnura General Store and bottleshop is just 9km down the road for basic supplies.

Wollombi Rolling Ridges

1 site · RV, Tent100 acres · Laguna, NSW
Ridgetop views evoke stillness and quiet to enjoy the abundant nature, from lyre birds, black cockatoos, wallabies, wombats, goannas as well as many different bird species depending on the season. October/November is flush with flannel flowers and other wild flowers thanks to bushfires and floods. Whilst the property is 100 acres, we also border Yengo State Forrest so if you're experienced hikers you can tramp until your hearts content without needing permission to cross private properties. The black summer bushfire regrowth is dense and difficult to travers. so I have cut in a loop walk to a rock ledge lookout (see pics) and there is also a 3km return walk to dry creek bed, boardered by pancake rock platforms and beautiful old trees. The access roads are dirt tracks which you can ride your bicycle but being on a ridge there is a steep climb back up. But no trailbikes allowed. Ideal for those who wish to immerse themselves in pristine nature while being only 1.5 hrs from Newcastle or Wahroonga (start of M1) There are 2 camping pads so if you are a group you can spread out but I want it to be private for each group I host, so even if you are only 2 people there won't be any other campers, hence the price is positioned to reflect this. We live simply in a Yurt on solar and rain water, apart from us, you will be the only campers so you are able to enjoy the quiet all to yourselves. (See pic 4 to see distance yurt is from camping pad) If you are looking for a party, this is not the place for you. It's the place for stargazers and nature lovers. In the evenings, you won't hear us nor my neighbours so it's only fair that my neighbours don't hear you. No loud music allowed, being a ridge the noise travels and it scares away the wildlife. We're 15mins on dirt tracks from Wollombi village. 2WD vehicle needs high clearance and dry tracks, so check with me first. 4WD and AWD preferable. Dogs love roaming around off leash, if yours is good with recall, as there's no fencing. Children under 5yrs no charge. You may use our composting loo or bring your own camping loo. Our loo is about 100m walk from camping pad. (see pic 5 and 6) Please be aware only firepit/cooking fire is allowed from 1st October to 31st March. Firepit provided (see pic 7 ) or you can bring your own. Open bonfires allowed from 1st April to 30th Sept, as per state rules. Regardless of season all fires are Bushfire Rating Dependant. Cut firewood to fit firepit can be purchased, please let me know in advance. Alternatively you can roam around and collect what has fallen on the ground.
