Such a beautiful spot! We had a great stay, even though it rained for most of our time there. We still checked out Protestors and had a nice drive out to Nimbin. The bath was lovely and so was the visit from the neighbours dog…such a cutie. The bed is quite firm and tricky to get in and out of, but I wouldn’t let that stop you if you’re looking for a weekend away! Lots of thought and care has gone into the linens and kitchenware and it was an appreciated touch 😊

We loved everything about it! We were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves. The hosts were great; the tent and facilities were amazing. They were also happy to help us light a fire. I would highly recommend this place for any type of getaway! The animal farm was the highlight for us.

I had an excellent experience—quiet, relaxed, and just what I needed. The cabin was spotless and cozy, with everything I needed already there. A thoughtful welcome gift was waiting in the fridge, which was such a nice touch. Craig was friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind!

Rachel provides a beautiful and safe space for those lucky enough to stumble across her home. Whilst still a work in progress, it’s one I so look forward to returning to. In terms of those who are travelling - the only thing I’d be aware of is that the service is kinda crappy. But so is my phone - so perhaps not so much an issue for everyone. The Channon Tavern, that has WIFI & serves wonderful food, is just 7 mins down the road though. Rachel was attentive, accommodating, and caring. The caravan was comfy, cosy and clean. I honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you Rachel 🤍

2 nights at The Peach Farm

We loved our stay at Peach Farm in the dome. We brought our dog Sadie for a couple of days of r & r and it was exactly what we needed. It had all the nature of camping without the hassle of setting anything up or packing down. The kitchen is fully equipped, there were towels for us to use to bathe, and we got a cheese platter for the first night. We got to see a beautiful meteor shower on the first night, with an incredible view of all the stars as well. Meg on site was super lovely and helpful. Unfortunately it rained pretty heavily so we didn't get to partake in the outdoor tub but I definitely will be booking that in for next time. My only suggestion would be a little table and some fold up chairs for inside the dome in the event of rain. Otherwise it's a perfect stay!

2 nights at "JALUM" Undulating Farmland!

We had an amazing stay! The beautiful gardens made the whole property feel peaceful and private. Our bedroom was super comfy and spotless with newly renovated bathroom, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We loved starting our mornings with coffee and breakfast at the cozy outdoor seating area, enjoying views of the mountains, dams and horses. Karen was very helpful with local tips and let us power our camper and fill our water tank, which made it easy to hit the off-road tracks again. Fresh flower arrangements and a basket of fruit and herbs from the garden were such a nice touch. Highly recommend — it was a perfect spot!

2 nights at Misty Valley Glamping

We booked the swag site as a last minute weekend away, once we arrived we upgraded to the bell tent and it was amazing! All the small details and tiny thoughtful touches were magic. Everything from the warm hospitality of Jodie and Caz to the camp kitchen that was so well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The gorgeous outdoor hot shower, the games, the huge fire pit to the gorgeous cows we met 🥰 Their little slice of heaven was so serene and peaceful. We can’t wait to come back!

Weekend Trip to Amorata Eco Farm

A fantastic place to slow down and relax - just far enough from the rest of the world for some peace and quiet, while close enough to have anything you could possibly need within reach. We were relieved to hear that the tiny home was accessible with a sedan, and charmed by how cozy the cabin was - the addition of the sauna and pool tying it all together for a stay to come back for. Of course, none of this would have been possible without Stu, who was a wonderful host and warm, friendly person.

I had a wonderful stay at this campsite. The place was cozy and peaceful, surrounded by nature. One of the best parts was the beautiful creek right in front of the site. At night, the sound of the flowing water filled the air, creating a calm and soothing atmosphere. It was the perfect getaway to unwind and recharge. Highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Tuntable Bush Camp

We loved the pop top caravan! A private space for us to wind down over our long weekend. Rachel was warm and accommodating throughout our trip! We enjoyed the camp fire area in a hidden away spot to spend evenings and mornings, and the amenities were clean and had great views! Highly recommend this spot - such an easy place to get to hikes and towns in the area!

We had such a lovely stay at this camp site the setting was peaceful and beautiful. The facilities were great even had hot water and the tents were amazing. The host really made it stand out. We had a run of bad luck with our car, and he went absolutely above and beyond to help us out. From offering advice to physically helping us sort things out, he was incredibly kind and generous with his time. Highly recommend staying here, not just for the gorgeous setup and great facilities but for the amazing hospitality. Thank you again!

Weekend Trip to Bird Call

What a great piece of paradise away from the crowds. We stayed here at Easter and it was perfect for us. Such a big place to spread your wings. It is very rustic, and there was a few little huntsman’s around, but they are more afraid of you. Highly recommend a 4wd if you want to park at the steps of the house to unload your gear. Wear bug spray too, we encountered a couple of leeches in the front yard. Again harmless if you are prepared. Hanging out by the fire playing chess and drinking wine was very romantic. We love camping generally and this was glamping at its finest! So close to Minyon falls (10 min drive) and all the towns were about 25 min drive away.

Karen and her house was amazing. The room was a great size for our little family and the art work and flowers all around the place adds such a beautiful touch of character. Then you have the animals who make the place that much more special. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a getaway

Nature Immersed Cabin & Glamping

This unique abode, has a relaxed feel on a 5 acre property, close to the Byron town (only 13kms) but far enough away to enjoy the solitude the hinterlands offers with access to wide open fresh air. It consists of a 1964 original vintage caravan, with an open-plan living/dining area, a gorgeous industrial-style bathroom, with a glass ceiling for star gazing & an outdoor fire-pit. The open air living allows guests to feel 100% connected to the natural environment, while at the same time having access to reliable, fast internet along with the comforts of a hot shower, flush loo etc. It is an ideal way to capture the restored feeling from remote camping, without the hassle of taking all your camping gear. Sleeping arrangements: We have a custom-made inner spring mattress that is an unusual size due to the vintage age of the vintage caravan & therefore the size, is in between a King-single & double size width & a queen-size length (which may or may not be big enough for 2 people depending on your sleeping expectations). The actual measurements are: 1.13M wide & 2M long. There is also a separate king single-size bed, on the other side of the caravan, suitable for another adult, a child or two small children. All linen and bath towels etc are provided. The caravan is cosy, with a TV, stereo, fridge, sink, wardrobe & storage space. The property is not far from the beautiful bathhouses of Mullumbimby too ie Kiva Spa & Banya bathhouse We are a pet-friendly property. If you wish to bring your friendly pet, they are welcome, but we charge a fee of $25 . Please select that you have a pet when making your booking. The bungalow is located approx. 25m from the main residence, and the campsite is located approx. 300m from the main residence tucked away in the paddocks and forest. We are onsite and available if needed. Sugar Beach Ranch is an operating farm with staff onsite caring for animals and maintaining the grounds. The Meadow at Dunoon is located 40 mins from Byron Bay; 20 mins from Bangalow. Its the perfect escape for couples, a small group of friends or families who are seeking a relaxing and environmentally friendly Byron Hinterland break. Our two eco-friendly domes sit on a 120 acre property providing a unique experience with a sense of space and privacy that helps you disengage from the everyday. Access to water and solar power on site. There are 2 domes available for up to 6 guests, with each dome including its own bathroom. Each dome has a queen bed and a single. There is an an outdoor undercover space including a kitchenette area, BBQ, sink, fridge, freezer, kettle, microwave & cutlery/crockery. Please note there is no oven or cooktop, only a BBQ. There are two hammocks and outdoor lounges to spend some time enjoying the view and time together. For those looking for a bit of adventure there is plenty to do in the surrounding area. Local attractions include: Whiann Whiann Falls- swimming hole- (5 minutes) Nightcap National Park, including spectacular Minyon Falls (30 minutes) Rocky Creek Dam, which has walks and a platypus trail (10 minutes) Eltham Hotel (15 minutes) The Channon Tavern and monthly markets (10 minutes) Bangalow Markets (20 minutes) Important information: Linen not provided. Doona, sheets, pillow tea towels needed. PLEASE NOTE: This is a "glamping" experience so insects and nature is a part of the experience. The tents are set on a concrete slab which is regularly sprayed however insects will still be around as the tents are set in the middle of the paddock so please be mindful of this. This property uses Solar Power (not connected to the grid) so please be aware of energy usage. All lights and general appliances are low energy and remain suitable for use over an extended sunless/cloudy period. If you drain the solar you will lose power and hot water. Both domes have aircon. The air-con cannot be left on. They were installed so if you have been out exploring all day and return to find a very hot or cold dome it gives you the ability to modify the temperature quickly. Once the dome has been cooled down or heated up (in our experience this takes approximately 10-15 mins) you can switch it off and use the fans provided if the evening is warm. If you leave the aircon continually running or forget to turn it off and go out you will lose power and the power will not return until the solar has had a chance to recharge the next day. There are 2 portable fans inside the domes and a fan for outdoor use for hot days. To reduce the impact on hot days the domes have rooftop curtains that should remain closed along with the front window curtains to keep the tents cooler. Guests have access to the entire 120 acre property. There is a gate for access to the paddocks beyond the dome fencing. The gate needs to be closed immediately after entering and exiting to prevent cows entering the dome area and causing damage or exiting onto the main road. You can stroll along the road until you reach the bushland on the far end of the property. We do not recommend walking through long grass on the property without protective footwear as snakes are known to live in the hinterlands region. Please be aware the driveway to the domes is not sealed. It is a gravel driveway. In the rain it may be slippery. Parking at the top of the property is recommended for cars that are not suitable for gravel inclines.
