Our property is situated on a working apple and cherry orchard at the base of Mount Canobolas, 10 minute drive from Orange. The region has much to offer including amazing wineries and cellar doors, quaint villages with artisans shops, hot air balloon rides, waterfalls, the Arch Cave and more.
Here at The Orchard visitors are welcome to pick their own fruit in season, at a cost. Please speak to your host if you are interested.
There are plenty of local food and wine venues in the surrounding area for you to enjoy. Lake Canobolas is close by for swimming and there are a number of walking/ hiking trails in the beautiful Mount Canobolas National Park.
Pets are welcome but we do have livestock on the property to please keep them under control.
Campfires are allowed as long as there are no fire restrictions in place. Amenities are available for campers.
A shower and toilets are also available to campers.

Wyangala Dam and village are nearby with access to watersports, fishing and nature walks. Elliotts Lookout is a scenic spot with fantastic views of the dam and back waters. The Cowra township is 20 minutes drive and worth a visit for all your supplies.
Revelstone offers camping with fantastic views. Plenty of space to go for a scenic hike, find spring fed dams for yabbie fishing or a quick dip, and see lots of wildlife including kangaroos, rabbits and foxes. There are 7 designated camping areas to set up your camp. Enjoy an evening by the campfire some firewood available but best to bring some .

We have allocated a nice open space for you to choose your site; set up under the shade of a majestic gum or in the open paddock by our dam.
Unwind and cosy up around our campfire and enjoy our magnificent sunsets and as the evening turns into night and the breathtaking star show begins. With no artificial light, stargazing at our property is simply incredible.
You can also see native wildlife kangaroos, emus and echidnas among some of the native wildlife that can be spotted here. If you’re a bird-watcher, you’ll love the vast array of galahs, major mitchell's, parrots and wrens nestled in the trees.
On our little property we farm sheep and goats. There are always strays, and dropped off orphans that become our little babies. We offer a complimentary petting tour for families who want to get up close with our station friendly animals.
Lots of fun can be had in the dam -Swimming is permitted and water sport activities on request or BYO Kayak.
We recommend extending your stay at least two nights at the station and taking the time to explore Cobar; a unique town, rich in mining heritage and natural attractions. Visitors will be amazed by open-cut mines, Aboriginal rock art, museums and colonial buildings and new sound chapel.
If your into bike riding or long walks we have a bitumen walking/bike track that goes into town not far from our station entry.
If you want to duck into the local club to have dinner, or a few drinks there's a courtesy bus to Golf Club Available that will collect you from our front gate.
Add on extras to make your stay more memorable with tours, hampers, animal feeding, holistic treatments and if any farm work is happening your welcome to watch or join in.

Bathurst is known for motorsports thanks to Mount Panorama, one of the world’s most famous circuits. It hosts a number of international racing events, including the Bathurst 12 Hour and the Bathurst 1000. When it's not being used for a race, the public can take a spin around the course.
Visit the National Motor Racing Museum, right next to the track. The Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum boasts a Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton and the Bathurst Regional Art Gallery is home to a wonderful collection of Australian paintings and contemporary artworks.
Spend the day in Bathurst by seeing many of the amazing sites including the famous Ben Chiffley Dam and spend the day on the water and even a short drive to Rockley to visit the famous pub now owned by Matt Moran.
