The camping area is surrounded by walking tracks and over the Christmas period the renowned Clyde Berry Farm is open where you can pick your own fresh berries or relax on the grounds for a ice-cream. You will find Shallow Crossing is also just a 10 min drive up the River Road for an exhilarating swim in fresh mountain water. The traditional water side camp kitchen offers a BBQ and table to eat. Has power and lighting, fresh drinking water, toilet, hot and cold shower and plenty of cover. With a fire pit just outside for toasting of marshmallows this makes for the best camping spot in the region. Please be mindful this is a camping and caravaning experience, there is for your convenience a flushing toilet (bring own toilet paper). This site has its own concrete boat ramp making a heaven for all fisho's and skiers. The ramp is totally safe to launch any watercraft. It was a windy weekend but we were well protected . The animals were friendly and the highlight of my daughter’s stay . Our dog had a great time , for her first camping trip. The host were very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay again . Very peaceful and quiet , just what we needed . A short walk to the river to a beautiful location .

Loved Coolendel. Great location.. off the beaten track but not too off beaten. The lady at checking was friendly and informative. We camped mid November during the week and literally had the place to ourselves. They had two amenities with hot showers which was a bonus on the first morning. But the rest of the time the fresh water of the Shoal Haven river was perfect. About 90% of sites have fire pits so make sure you bring your own fire wood. No 4G or 5G network but you could buy wifi to access communications. During the three days of camp we managed to see wallabies, kangaroos, wombats, peacocks and abundance of birds life. The stars at night were on full display. One thing I would recommend if you’re camping during the school holidays is to bring your own portable toilet or off grid shower as the amenities would be at premium use Most sites have taps you access fresh water.

Beautiful chilled out spot. Feels very private and I think it would even if the four spots were taken. Had a lovely time sitting in the sun and cooking dinner. Paula is lovely and friendly. Totally worth the money for a nice camp spot in the shade of the trees. Woolies is only a 8 min drive for supplies. Wedding music on the Saturday night down the road really isn't that loud.

Great spot to camp. We normally camp by the river but in future, will stay here instead. Lovely to wake up with mobs of roos around and its family friendly and more secure than free camping down the road. Highly recommended for families who want to spend a few days panning without the worry of rangers and undesirables by the river. Lots of beautiful farm animals as well.
