2 nights at Truffle Farm Camping

We absolutely loved camping at the truffle farm. The cows and horses were incredibly cute and the little walk to the river was gorgeous, we felt like we were on the edge of the earth. The stars overnight were beautiful and the fresh farm eggs in the morning were a delightful touch. I'd love to be back!

Had a very peaceful time on the farm. Hosts were very accommodating, warm and welcoming. The friendly animals kept my son busy and the van was very comfortable to be in.

Caravan was spotlessly clean, the campsite is quiet, very close to the beach.

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at the truffle farm. The farm animals were friendly and an extra excitement for the the kids. Perfect location not far from the pub and the river and perfectly peaceful and quiet. Tricia was an exceptional host and took the time to show us around and explain all about truffles. Portaloo was very handy- Just remember toilet paper and your own water to flush! Sites had beautiful picnic tables and fire pits. Looking forward to returning.

Stayed here in a hybrid at the Top of the Mountain site. Great spot, amazing views and it was perfect for travelling through. We lit a small fire and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Beautiful lake views with the turbines, rolling hills and great for star gazing. Access and communication were great. Be self sufficient. I would recommend this to a friend.

3 nights at La Estancia Hideaway at Jervis Bay

We had a fabulous magical 3 night stay at Magali's beautiful camp-site. The idea of a private outdoor bath under the stars got us there but we were very pleasantly surprised with all the other wonderful extras. The bathroom facilities would rival any B&B or motel. So good to have a hot shower after a day at the beach. The cavinous rustic common area kitchen has a full size fridge freezer, a coffee machine with coffee supplied, microwave, kettle with tea supplied, toaster, sandwich press and a pantry filled with crockery, utensils etc. In fact you could arrive with just a tent & food and everything else you would ever need is there. Lots of cast iron for cooking over there big fire pit. The private camping area is large, lush and surrounded by beautiful bush and birdlife. Local possums also visit the Communal shed. It was great as well to have a place where our dogs were welcomed and they had so much fun playing with Magali's Bazil. We will certainly be returning and would recommend it to any one looking for a quieter more private stay but still so close to all the wonderful places Jervis Bay has to offer. A truly special and healing space and Magali was so kind, helpful and generous. Thank you, Magali, so much for making our birthday celebration so special. 😊 x

The space was amazing. We asked to move to a different space (as I made a mistake when booking when catering for our toddler) & Ian was more than accommodating. Beautiful space, perfect to have a private fire and enjoy the serenity of nature. The extras like an axe and generator made life so much easier. Would 10/10 recommend Ian as a host and his space.

We loved staying at Upper Terrace at Mellows Ridge. Ian has been really nice and helpful sharing recommendations to do in the area. We definitely recommend doing the 40 min hike to the top of the rocky ridge. We had no rain to driving uphill was easy but it can be challenging if visiting with rainy weather.

Great camping spot and facilities. Kids loved playing with Lana. Easy access with 2WD. Highly recommend to others. We will definitely come back for another visit.

Magali’s caravan experience was outstanding. From the caravan itself, to the land surrounding it, which includes a communal bathroom/shower and entertainment area, everything is so thoughtfully prepared and cleaned. Nestled right up against the escarpment at an elevation of 450m, this high-end, off-grid 40 acre property effectively offers your own private slice of Macquarie Pass National Park - amazing views, giant cedar trees, fern forests, cascading waterfalls and palms surround. It feels remote but it's only 90 min from Sydney, 30 min to Kiama and just 15 min to the shops. The property also offers the only hiking path up to the top of the escarpment for some truly amazing views. As of September 2024, all the trails on the property have been massively upgraded and are passable with a 2WD car. If you're towing or it's wet we still recommend AWD or 4WD vehicles. We've just (mid December) added a spa half way up the driveway. It can be booked through the extras. We're not particularly price sensitive - until all those rate rises - but we are extremely value sensitive so we set out to make your stay extremely good value for your hard earned money. The land itself does most of the heavy lifting but also personal service and of course there's Lana to fall in love with. Note, Mellows Rd is 2.6km long and rises 400m - in parts the road is a 15 degree grade. It's all paved but narrow so if you are towing a large heavy load, it's going to strain your car.

Two Little Piggies

Situated on an amazing 36 acres located only 15 minutes from Goulburn NSW whilst overlooking the magnificent lake Pejar. We are currently establishing our cattle and produce enterprise at Wayo. Whilst driving up our driveway through the corridor of birch trees you will start to immerse yourself and unwind before arriving at your campsite over the hill. We have 7 very unique sites ranging from absolute luxury and pampering (including all food as a package) at our glamping lodging to just pitching a tent in a secluded patch of our cattle paddock. Every site is unique and special offering amazing views and experiences and although we do have several sites, you do have your own space to roam around and unwind. Fur babies are most welcome though please ensure your fury friend is good with other dogs as we do from time to time have other families stay with their dogs. We have public access to the lake only 2 minutes from our farm gate. There is amazing fishing with Bass and Trout in the lake as well as non motorised sports for a peaceful getaway. If doing nothing is your thing, then sit back in front of the fire, enjoy a beer or wine and just admire the views. We just know you will love staying on our little slice of paradise, one of the districts best kept secrets and views :) As of February 2025 we now have public toilets for the use of all campers and guests.
