Super chill and relaxing watching the river go by and the fish jumping.
Was super handy to explore the area from and then to come back and just relax was great.
Day one was super windy so we just chilled in and around the van but at least we still had a great view !

Our favourite hipcamp so far. The river was great to swim in and fish, we caught flattys and bream. Site is well maintained and the host are super nice as well. 10/10 would recommend

There's is tap water available and possibly fire wood if you go for a hunt.
Morning was beautiful with roos next to us .
Only thing is bringing your portable toilet, there's no one tree were no-one cant see you ...

I think it's important to point out it's not as "private" as the name suggests
However very well kept spot and pretty, and Helen (host) was lovely.
There were quite a few other campers while we were there but we didn't feel crowded.
It was quite windy so we didn't use the awning but it settled over night. The river was lovely to watch.
A main road across the river was closer than expected and road noise could be heard, however not enough to be disturbing.
The cows were a pleasant grounding with nature and bearing them moo, not too loud, was really lovely.
We were able to visit Hat Head and South West Rocks within an easy drive.

Nice flat areas all open to the water. It was amazing. Quiet, and enjoyed having a chat to the owners. Highly recommend this hipcamp. Would definitely come back again and stay. Even saw dolphins in the water on Christmas day. Such a treat.

Such a good spot down near the creek and plenty of space so you can spread out from other campers. The weather gods didn’t smile on my trip, but I’m sure on a sunny day it’s even more beautiful.
