Undeveloped 7 acre bush block. Close to the centre of Kalaru and the lagoon. Minutes drive or cycle to mountain biking tracks and beautiful Tathra. Enjoy the sound of the bell birds. If you're lucky, you might see some native Orchids (usually blossoming around mid-November), or pop down to Tathra to watch whales on their migration or taking a break to feed south of Tathra Head.

- This block is undeveloped, bar a short driveway. There are no services at this block (water, power, sewage, internet, waste collection etc.). It is the responsibility of campers to collect and remove their own waste. Info on the nearest waste facilities will be provided prior to check in.
- Ticks are present on this block. Please ensure that campers have appropriate supplies (or are prepared to otherwise seek assistance) to deal with ticks and that pets are protected appropriately.
- Snakes may also be present, although we have not personally sighted any.
- This block used to be attached to a nearby farm. The land is largely clean, but there are is the odd old bit of barbed wire or drum lying around. Please exercise appropriate caution when walking around the block.
- The block is heavily wooded. Bushfire restrictions may impact on the ability to have a camp fire. Permits may also be required.
- There are neighbours nearby. Please be considerate and courteous of those around them at all times. Keep noise to acceptable levels, particularly on weekends or in the evenings.
- Pets are accepted on the property. Campers are expected to clean up after their pets, ensure noise is kept to a minimum and that their pets are appropriately restrained (i.e. can't get at native wildlife or our neighbours). The property is not sufficiently fenced to contain pets.

Riverview Kiah is offering one campsite nestled on a very quiet part of the Kiah/Towamba river. To minimize impact on neighbors and make your stay more enjoyable, there is only one campsite offered on the whole property, so apart from the owners you will have it all to yourselves.
You will need to be a self-contained camper who brings their own camping toilet/shower. We offer access to water via a 1000l pod that is close to the campsite. This water is drinkable and may be used to fill jerry cans/ wash etc. We just ask you to please be frugal with usage.
The campsite is situated on a grassy knoll a mere 30m away from your own private beach, which is ideal for fishing kayaking and swimming.
The Kiah / Towamba river is well renowned for its excellent fishing. Live bait or soft plastics are best. Live bait can be sourced at nearby Nullica beach or alternatively, frozen prawn's, pipis or salted pilchards also yield success. Some of the species that call the river home are, Flathead, Bream, Luderick, Whiting, Estuary Pearch, Jewfish, Mullet and Flounder.
If you bring your kayaks, canoe or roof top tinny the river is very picturesque with unique photo opportunities and an abundance of wildlife. You can head upstream for a way but if you're feeling up to it, it's about a 2.5-hour paddle (at a slow steady pace) to the mouth of the river where Davidsons whaling station is located, as well as the view across the bay to Eden. If you time it right, you can go and return with the tide. Two kayaks and life jackets are provided with all bookings so that people without their own equipment are able to explore the pristine waterway.
There is a large firepit near the river that may be utilized as long as there is no total fire ban in effect. If you have your own firepit that can also be used but there are to be no fires on beach or bare earth. Firewood can be provided at an extra cost, (please select in extras, 1 bundle will last 2 nights on average).
Directions will be provided 48 hours before arrival; you are welcome to head straight to camp although if around I will meet and greet you upon arrival.

Bunga Surf Shack is located 20m from our house we are completing building in mid-2025. It is private from our house with a seperate driveway.
The property is coastal farmland, half wooded, half cleared, distant neighbours and nearby National Parks. Great surf beaches including Bunga Point, Cuttagee and Aragunnu all close by. There are numerous coastal lagoons, Biamanga and Mimosa Rocks National parks. We have a large dam at the entrance to the property.
The township of Bermagui is 15 minutes drive north; Tathra and Bega are 30mins south. There is an abundance of wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, goannas, echidnas, eagles, wombats.
You can enjoy whale watching, diving, swimming, surfing and walking coastal tracks from here.
As well there is an abundance of great food available with Wapengo Organic oysters just down the road, Mimosa Winery close by and numerous cafes, pub, restaurants, sourdough bakery, woolworths, bottleshop etc in the gorgeous coastal village of Bermagui.
Mobile phone and internet coverage is good with Telstra, not as reliable if you are with Optus. Lovely place to switch off from your device if possible though.
If you require firewood please select this in the extras or leave $20 cash per nights supply as we do have to chop, split and deliver this to the site. There is plenty of kindling to scavenge on site.
If you would like to have friends stay with you there is additional space we allow for campers, otherwise we do not allow campers without the Surf Shack booking.

We loved Earl’s Farm - best camp ever! We stayed for 12 nights over NYE. Loved the serenity, but with easy access to Eden. Heaps to do/explore - river, beaches, fishing, SUP-ing. We brought our own shower and used the very well maintained drop toilet. Flies were a bit annoying but that’s Australia for you.

Trent has a beautiful spot, he has put a lot of effort in to the camp site. Was able to purchase chicken eggs and Trent greeted us after we settled in for a bit.
Caught plenty of fish , walked along the sand dunes when tide was low also gave the kayaks a go.
Eden town around the corner which came in super handy.
Definitely coming back.

What a hidden gem. The well kept farm right beside the river was a sight to behold. Beautiful wildlife, magnificent river and well kept amenities showing pride the owner has of this place.
Kids loved access to the river using the supplied canoes and life jackets and we all loved the grand fire place during the night.
For sure we will be back again as we only got the explore Eden and the river to a small degree.
As much as I'd love to keep this place a secret, it would be doing the owner a disservice. Thanks again for your great communication and hope to see you again soon.

Did not even see Trent only his father who checked in on us on arrival. Everything provided for and Trent communicated well via messages.
We had no problems as all explained very well & all went smoothly.

This was such a great spot to take the kids. We had fun kayaking and took our own stand up paddle board. It felt very private & peaceful. We still had 1-2 bars of phone reception which was good, wouldn’t bother me if it didn’t have reception but handy to know I guess. We seen plenty of wildlife; eagles, a deer and a red belly black snake.. on the dirt road on our way out as we were leaving thankfully! The owner was very pleasant to deal with and very hospitable.

Absolutely amazing. Location is so private and many activities to do. The host Trent is a legend, from pre arrival and also during our stay, Trent made sure we were comfortable. This spot is supplied with water, kayaks, life jackets, insect repellent, even fishing rod holders for the river(nice touch) and more… all the things to keep your stay comfy and fun.
Would absolutely recommend this hip camp and we’ll definitely be back.
