Little Moreau Recreation Area
Out on the South Dakota prairie there is an oasis to discover, a wonderland filled with waterways, grassland, lakes, camping, and wildlife. The Little Moreau Recreation Area is its name, and people have been camping here for centuries, so you know it’s a winner. It started with the Native Americans who used it as their winter campgrounds long before it was “discovered” by settlers. Then it was a place for explorers and settlers to homestead and graze their cattle on the lush greenery. Now it is one big ol fun zone for all your outdoor activities! Yay!
