There is dino-sized fun to be had at Clayton Lake State Park! Get all “Land Before Time” up in here, and discover one of the largest dinosaur trackways in North America. Hike where the big guys roamed, and feel good that the only one doing the hunting will be you if you choose to fish on the lake or hunt in the surrounding grasslands. There’s pretty spots for picnics and bird watching while out on your hike, and that’s just the fun on land. Hop in a canoe, kayak, or boat and take to Clayton Lake for some splashin’. The sunsets here are not to be missed and once the stars come out you can head to the park’s observatory for a close up view! With so much to explore here, your worries are sure to be extinct after a trip to Clayton Lake.
