There is no where better to bound with friends than in nature.
As a local it was really fun to explore my own town. There are hundreds of these mock traffic signs that were created by an artist in Amarillo. It was neat to see some of them as we entered the property. They're dispersed all around Amarillo.
There were no designated camping spots, we originally set up camp here but then decided to move to higher ground to see the view of the plains better.
The sunset was on fire.
Mariposa is truly one of the quirkiest spots I've ever seen. The eclectic art was eye catching and made me wonder about the inspiration behind various pieces.

Friends arrived right at sunset, we got to enjoy a glass of wine together.
This was the view of the trail as we were hiking down to Manby Hot Springs.
We arrived at our Hipcamp with the cutest welcome sign from the host which made us know we were in the right spot!
