Any park that has a winter toboggan run and a summer water park is seriously impressive! While these are the big ticket features at Eugene T. Mahoney State Park, there’s still plenty of wild trail adventures and more to be had at this gorgeous 690 acre state park along the Platte River. Hop on the horseback riding trails from John Wayne Riding Stable, or take your crew down to CenturyLink Lake for a day of rainbow trout fishing. The trails will take you to the observation tower with killer views, or pop in for one of their stargazing nights to gaze at the cosmos with the help of local astronomy clubs. If you’ve ever wanted to shack up at a cozy cabin, or attend a murder mystery dinner in the wilderness, E.T. Mahoney has got you covered. This stunning park is so diverse, there’s tons of fun for explorers of every age!
