Best Hipcamps in Nebraska

Named one of the best Hipcamps to visit in 2026.

This property is 110 acres all together. We have cattle that do visit the pastures but can be excluded if need be. Nice rolling hills with Oak Savannas in the low areas. Lots of great native wildlife and plants that bloom from early spring through late summer. In the Fall the leaves are amazing. There is a rough outhouse at the primitive campsite. No electricity but there is water and trash bins located at the farmstead. We do want our guests to be comfortable but this is definitely a rough camping site. You may also want to grab a beef package from us for your stay or to take along with you. Many items available for sale right at the farm. Enjoy peace, quiet, and nature at your own private 70 ac camp site!

This is a mainly a tent site but a small boondocking RV would be ok too! There are 4 sites you can choose from: The wooded site being the most accommodating with water spigot, stock tank to swim in, and outhouse. There is a driveway but it is not gravel. Use caution when parking if wet. Enjoy camping in the woods or the pasture. If you like cows that can be part of your camping experience too! Camp with them or not with several site options available. 110 private acres total available and 138 acres of public wildlife management area directly to the west! Rough trails are mowed through the woods a couple times a year so you can easily find a good spot to set up camp. The outhouse is centrally located in the woods so you’re never too far away. UTV ride available in and out if needed! This site is nicely wooded with open prairie outside of the woods. There are water spigots available and a cattle water tank that you can swim in. There is a map of the sites in the pictures that shows where water spigots (blue circles), toilet (green square), electric fences (red lines), parking areas and entrances to property (red squares), and property boundary of barbed wire (green lines). Dry firewood is available please only use our firewood, for the safety of our forest. Frozen ranch raised beef also available for sale at the farm house. If you’d like to use the sites for taking family photos it’s really great for that too! We are glad to have you stay with us and hope to see you soon! Any questions about the place please ask.

This site is a good option for tent campers and small boondocking rv's and camper vans. The drive way is fully rocked for parking. Using a different site is advised if car or RV camping if rain is forecast! Otherwise it is just a short walk to the woods and good camping area from the driveway where it is safe to park. We offer a beautiful native grassland with scenic views 12 months out of the year! Beautiful flowers to take pictures of, wonderful fall colors to enjoy, and cattle to watch graze! All together there is 110 total private acres available and 138 acres of public wildlife management area directly to the west! There is a water spigot available near the camping area. There is no outhouse at this site though. Plenty of firewood available so please use our firewood. We are more than happy to help you figure out a good spot and accommodate you within reason. Please ask if anything is needed. Assistance with a UTV available. And tours! This would be a great relatively private spot near pavement to quickly stop and tent camp or car camp for the evening while passing through!

I communicated with Aaron beforehand, worried about recent heavy rains. He had me book the off highway parking spot, but said if it was dry enough I could switch to the wooded spot. It was just what I was looking for. Secluded and peaceful. Not a ton of flat spots but entirely doable. My kids loved camping there. Great for boondocking with a small overlanding rig.
