We even have a "Clay water pit" with very healing Clay in it, and you can rinse off with our high mineral content well water in a cold plunge (Stock tank with water in it, fresh filled ha ha) Fun place not set up for "glamping" yet; you definitely need to be a little bit rugged.

It was very wide and awesome site. We can decide the tent location as we like, depending on the wind direction, sunlight direction, etc. The host’s hospitality is also very good! If you’d like to keep distance from city noise and fatigues, we can refresh here!

Dave's property is amazing! There are lots of places to explore, his land also borders Fancy Creek wildlife area. Dave was very down to earth and very interesting to talk to. He has extensive knowledge on survival skills, he also teaches classes. We enjoyed ourselves a lot, very quiet and private. There is also a nice playground for kids

We were making our way from the west coast to the east coast and found this place to stay. It was beautiful, even in the fall/winter time. We stayed warm and cozy in the yurt and had a beautiful view of the lake. I would definitely recommend to stay here and we would come back.

Our third visit to Blackthorn and we love it more every time. Camping areas are spread out amongst the woods, and it’s really lovely in cool fall weather! We had a very windy weekend, but our site was nicely blocked from it, so we could just enjoy the sounds from the blowing trees. Great visit!
