Move over elk, you know you gotta share this space with campers too. Aspen Glen Campground in Rocky Mountain National Park is a popular hangout for elk, especially in the fall. You can catch them grazing in the open meadows nearby, or just a few feet from your tent. But these beautiful creatures aren’t the only wildlife you’ll see around these parts. Take a drive up the historic Fall River Road to meet other residents of the park and catch some amazing views.

Great campground near a river, with a ranger station at the entrance and clean bathrooms. Beautiful and just what we asked for!
