Description

Find the perfect base camp in Riverside Campground—just a short walk away from South Platte River. Tucked away in Eleven Mile Canyon, this is the prime spot for your rock climbers to bed down between slinking up and down those cliffs and crags along the polished granite walls. Don’t be surprised if you lock eyes with a graceful deer in the misty mornings, wildlife is known to roam freely around here (it is there backyard and all!). Finish the day by taking the 1-mile Hard Rock Interpretive Trail for an epic sunset overlook of the entire canyon that you won’t soon forget.
