Whether you roll up in an RV or walk-in to one of four forest fortresses make note that Lake Sylvia has restrooms, utility stations and–hallelujah–showers. There are 31 sites that will accommodate tents and campers but make sure to call ahead in April through September.

Mid-week camping in June provides plenty of open campsites. Sites are pretty close to one another and with a mix of RV and tent sites, this is a family-centered campground. If you're looking for ultimate peace and quiet, this campground may not be it.
