The main Prineville campground provides lake-soaked views and the tawny, ginger stripes of a desert canyon to gaze upon. It’s a sanctuary for water sport enthusiasts who can savor swimming areas, boat launches, morning kayak rapture, 22 full-hookup sites, 22 electrical sites with water, 23 tent sites with water nearby, 5 deluxe log cabins (one is pet friendly!), picnic tables, fire rings, flush toilets, hot showers, 32 boat moorages (summer only) and an amphitheater for interpretive programs. Enjoy Prineville year-round--rent a cabin in the winter and experience the elevated quiet of Prineville under the dove white blanket of a fresh snow.
