Kindred Spirits Horse Farm is a sustainable homestead growing fruit, nut trees, and organic vegetables. Our beautiful hens provide fresh eggs for you, daily! Many award-winning wineries dot the hills and valleys in this area, known as the Applegate Wine Trail. Enjoy a wineries self-tour, or book our guided wine tour ($) -- I drive, you drink! We are convenient to the Britt Music Festival in historic Jacksonville (big names all summer!) And only one hour to fabulous Ashland, Oregon, where folks may attend a play at the Oregon Shakespeare Theater. We offer horsemanship sessions at $30/hr. Yoga & Sound Healing with Jessa, our camp host, who is a longtime yoga practitioner and teacher can also be booked at extra cost. Rogue River white water rafting trips are available through several river guides whom we can recommend in nearby Grants Pass. The Redwoods and beaches are 1hour + from site. There's a lot to do here -- but you may just choose to rest mind and body on your wooded-view deck with a good book.Beautiful dark night skies. The shower is nice and hot and the kitchen has everything you need to prepare most simple meals with a hot plate, toaster oven, dishes and a bit of cookware. Your linens and towels are always freshly laundered. We have chickens so you can purchase fresh eggs. You'll wake up and see the horses and stroll through the woods. This is the Applegate Valley Wine Region! You may tour local wineries, with perhaps a delicious lunch at one of the area's charming restaurants. For horse lovers, riding sessions are available for $30/hr. Ask us for the Bocce Ball set if desired!

What a cute cabin! We especially loved making farm fresh eggs with produce grown in the garden that was left for us in the kitchen cabin. The outdoor shower in the woods was wonderful, as well as the host.

Our stay at Kindred Spirits Cabin was restful and dreamy. Nikki was a wonderful host and she has made sure her guests have everything they could need. The cabin and amenities were in a private area on the land, but close enough for conversation with Nikki if desired. Our dog loved running through the forest, watching the horses, and playing with Nikki's dog. This was a great spot and we hope to return!

The cabin was perfect! It far exceeded my expectations as there was everything you would need like coffee, soap, and even an additional tent for guests. We got to enjoy both the cabin and the tent so we got the best of both worlds. Not to mention the property was really quiet, private and beautiful. Totally recommend!
