This property was so beautiful and serene. As you drive in there is a little hill and on the other side is just the cabins and land as far as the eye can see. My daughters had fun exploring the property and my dog was in heaven! My family loved sitting in the hot tub under the stars. The host Serina was SO responsive and answered all questions right away. I would love to take my family back! We explored Joshua Tree during the day and loved the beauty of the desert.

My partner and I had a great time. Loved the seclusion, the view, the amenities. Charming, quirky decor. Comfy bed. Spacious bathroom. Hot water flowed nicely. The hot tub was great, we used it at night in ~55° weather and it was so soothing especially after hiking in Joshua Tree. AC was efficient too.
There is a bit of a distance between the amenities though. The sink, hot tub, and fire pit were all separate from the room. It made cooking and cleaning difficult for us. I recommend preparing only simple meals here, as the stove top is small and space is limited.
Overall, I recommend this place. The owner is friendly and fast-responding. If you’re looking for a private, relaxing getaway just a few minutes from Joshua Tree, this is the spot. The view of the desert is vast and unforgettable.

I loved the little cabin in the middle of the desert. Great patio with panoramic views . Very close to Joshua tree west entrance. Hot tub was a nice touch as well.

Serina's cabin near Joshua Tree was so cozy. My sister and I enjoyed our stay - taking full advantage of the deck to watch sunrise and sunset and the hot tub for nightly stargazing. A large shower and basic amenities provided. Would definitely recommend a stay at this place. One note of caution is that we got lost and there are some really rough unpaved "roads" in this area with no lighting so definitely get good directions from the host and probably best to have a high clearance/4 wheel drive vehicle and arrive during daylight.

This little cabin is great and Serina is very responsive. It was our home base for excursions into Jericho Tree National Park. Very secluded with no road noise or close neighbors and great for stargazing. We were glad to have rented an AWD SUV to navigate the unpaved roads.

I absolutely adore this little cabin. It’s cozy, the energy is clean and the view is amazing. My stay was so quiet and peaceful. The only noise I heard was rain on the roof and the occasional coyote. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was so cute!

Had the best time staying at Coyote Hideaway! The sunrises, sunsets and stargazing were the best part. The property is still close to town while giving the illusion of being far away and isolated. We stayed on a new moon and had the most stunning clear view of the sky. The cabin was clean and cozy and had really neat art! The hot tub was cool and modern with led lights! I would definitely come back! Thanks for an amazing stay!

This property was an amazing retreat and close to Joshua Tree. Waking up in the morning to the amazing sunrise with a view over the desert was truly special. We enjoyed the provided tea and coffee as well as the warm shower in the winter. The hot tub also had a great view and was large enough for 6-8 people. The only thing I'd caution is that the dirt road to the property especially at the end is a bit steep and rocky but doable with any type of vehicle with a bit of clearance.

Our family absolutely LOVED this private home-away-from-home! It was such a gift to go back to these cabins (we booked both), after our days of exploring Joshua Tree and Pioneer Town.
Family favorite: Stargazing from the hot tub.
My favorite: Quiet morning coffee on the deck with the sunrise.
We love camping in JT, but now we are spoiled with this incredible privacy and sanctuary from the crowds. It's so quiet that you can hear every animal out there... coyotes, crows, and the early morning owls. We will definitely be going back!

The location was perfect and had an attached path to explore the area below. Super quiet for my reactive pup where it’s just you at the site. The deck was fabulous and the included grill/cooking utensils was great. Serina was also super accommodating and responded quickly in the chat.
If heading over when raining, the site is still accessible though I do recommend using a car with higher clearance as some of the unpaved roads in the surrounding neighborhood can get quite rough. No issue with my AWD and the road itself leading up to the cabin as it was well maintained.

It’s very remote but still close to Joshua Tree maybe 10 minutes to the center of town. It’s a sand road to the place and the drive way up the hill to the cabin is a bit challenging. The view is amazing from the deck. A bit rustic and not anything fancy. The hot tub is nice.I think the property listed a washer and dryer, but it’s not for guest to use.

This is indeed a very serene and private location, you will be surrounded by nothingness and nature, maybe a few curious coyotes. If you are looking to disconnect from the world in the privacy of nature reserve and pristine dark sky at night, do it! Best time to go - during new moon. Then you will be wow'ed by the sky's beauty as you soak in a brand new hot tub.

We had a wonderful experience at Serena’s camp. Directions were helpful and Serina was communicative. The cabin was as described with a wonderful bathroom. We loved hanging out on the covered porch and the hot tub was amazing to chill out and watch the shooting stars. Don’t hesitate - go ahead and book - you’ll be glad you did!!.

This place is amazing! Serina was a wonderful host. Very secluded, quiet spot, amazing star gazing, hot tub works great. AC kept the room cold during the hot days. WiFi covered most the property which is quite large. The sunrises and sunsets were really a highlight for us. So beautiful. We will be back!

Its a great location, the site is very quiet you have a great view of the stars, you have to off road a little to get to the site but its well worth it. The jacuzzi is clean and well maintained and the ac in the room works well which is needed in the summer heat.

The cabin itself is fantastic! It's in an incredible location with stunning views, and the jacuzzi was a definite highlight—perfect for relaxing and taking in the scenery.
Unfortunately, we had an unexpected encounter with red fire ants, which got into most of our food. This forced us to cut our stay short, even though we had planned to spend the entire weekend.
We would have loved to stay longer because the place truly is beautiful, but unfortunately, the ant issue made it difficult to enjoy fully. With that addressed, this cabin would be an amazing getaway spot.

An incredible stay from start to finish. Serina is an amazing host and the cabin was exceptional. We spent hours in the hot tub each night, enjoyed roasting marshmallows over the firepit, made good use of the outdoor shower with its incredible view, grilled out one evening, and hiked from the cabin in addition to our full days at Joshua Tree. Some terrific local restaurants and coffee spots are a short drive away, but after a long day of hiking in the park, winding down in such a serene location with immense privacy and a million stars in the sky was totally perfect.

This place is so great if you want some amenities but yet feel off grid! I love camping but my girlfriend doesn't and this was the perfect mix! Not to far from town but you definitely feel secluded 10 out of 10 we had a perfect relaxing weekend together

Words can’t begin to describe how amazing this HipCamp experience was for me and my girlfriend. Such a beautiful location with complete privacy and breathtaking views. The cabin was so cool and unique yet provided everything we needed for a comfy stay (and much more!) The property is set up very thoughtfully and the wide open views of the desert were amazing. The deck area with the hot-tub and patio was perfect for relaxing after our desert adventures during our J-Tree vacation. The stargazing was just incredible. This is the perfect place to relax and disconnect from the everyday life stuff while enjoying the amazing desert magic of J-tree. The super quiet surroundings made for such a relaxing and zen vibe. I could go on-and-on but you should just get out there and experience this magical spot for yourself! So grateful to our amazing host for making sure we were comfortable during our stay. Can’t wait till our next visit to the desert and won’t think twice about where to stay 🌵 ✨ 🪐 🙌 ☺️

I loved Serina’s cabins they were located in a spot that felt like you were alone in the desert with amazing views and the quiet. However it is under 30 minutes to get to 29 Palms and 12 minutes to Joshua Tree town. We loved staying here.

This was an incredible location in Joshua Tree. Really beautiful accommodations and a beautiful place. And Serena couldn't have been more helpful. We even had a small minor emergency. But she was quick to the rescue, way more than we would've expected. Ten out of ten.

Beautiful place. Amazing view all day long. For us it was the perfect hybrid- I got to use my teardrop camping trailer and others had running water, showers, hot tub, etc. Feels very remote - we didn’t see or hear any other humans the entire time we were there. Directions to get there are simple and the road manageable for most vehicles. I pulled my 17 ft trailer to the site in 2WD. Longer trailer setups might find it too tight. Comms with the host were clear and quick. I will certainly be back.

The host was amazing and super accommodating and communicated quickly. The property is quaint and intimate home. The Jacuzzi under the starts is amazing as is sipping coffee on the porch as the sun comes up.

Perfect little homestead and getaway for some hiking around J Tree. Far enough away to feel like you are secluded but close enough to run into town to grab some dinner if you don't feel like cooking. Would deff book again.
