Description

If you’re ready to rough it, try out the primitive campground only reachable by kayak (or other shallow boat) or by hiking the 2.5-mile Gap Point trail with gear in tow. There are two campsites available here, each accommodating up to 12 people. “Primitive” is definitely an apt description for these sites; there’s no water, electricity, showers, or amenities of any kind available. You can’t reserve the primitive sites online, but you can by calling the park office at (850) 927-2111.
