Mountain biking, fishing, hiking, nature viewing, big game hunting… it’s all a go out here. Spend your days doing your favorite outdoor activities, and then spend your nights cozied up to the bonfire with your favorite people. Campbell Creek is a beautiful little campground tucked in among pine trees with rock formations on one side. There is plenty of space between sites and is super quiet. At least during my stay, we hardly saw anyone in the area as you are remote, with Douglas being the closest town. Note that there are warning signs of bears in the area, so you must practice food safety (food kept inside hard-sided trailers, vehicles, or bear resistant containers).
