Description

Lodgepole Campground is located in an old-growth forest on the American River, with tons of outdoor activities nearby. The river is popular for fishing and whitewater rafting. The water is pretty chilly, so jump in if you dare! There are lots of nearby hiking trails and wilderness areas, from which you can catch glimpses of Gilbert Peak, the highest peak in the area.
