The closest place I know of is the Conoco a mile north of my place on Cleveland St. They have a truck stop and I'm told the shower is nice. Weekend Trip to Black Hills Station

We stayed for 3 days at this great campground while traveling as a family of four through SD. This spot is very centrally located to just about everything we wanted to do while in South Dakota, exploring the Black Hills and the Badlands. We visited Custer State Park, Deadwood, Spearfish, Rapid City, and some other places nearby and everything was a very easy drive from this place. The little one-room cabins are great for a couple and 2 kids or could work for a couple and 1 other adult. I would not try to have more kids in the room because it's a queen + a set of twins (a trundle). There is a mini fridge and a microwave in the room + lots of great little shelves so that we could store all of our pantry items. There is nowhere to cook and no picnic table to eat on, so I do recommend bringing a folding table to put outside if cooking on site matters to you. You park right next to your cabin and all of the bathrooms are easy to walk to from all of the cabins. We were in cabin #2 which is right in the middle and has one close cabin next door but it is so quiet there at night. It really didn't matter. The pool was great and my kids really liked it, they provide towels which is awesome. The television is a smart TV so whatever streaming you have at home you log onto. Everything was clean, orderly, and quiet. The staff we spoke with were helpful and friendly. I would 10/10. Recommend this place to my family or friends!

This is a great new cabin and very comfortable. I just used a sleeping bag but was told bedding is available. The resort is right by the road and there is considerable noise during the day but it became very quiet at night. No electric but battery lights are in cabin. Super friendly and informative staff. It was a great shelter when a heavy thunderstorm rolled through. Restroom is a bit of a walk up the parking lot but they are clean. Very central to all the sights in the area. Would make a great base for an extended stay.

Space was very clean and quiet! Shower room and bathrooms clean and easy to find. Was a bit tough to find the silo in the dark- but host was very helpful and gave us directions. Don't stay in this place of there's any hint of rain- the mental roof leaves little to the imagination. Sounded like a herd of cattle going across the roof when it rained.

The bed was comfy; the AC, blackout curtains, and fan keeps us cool enough, and the coffee maker, fridge, and mugs made morning coffee easy. We enjoyed watching thunderstorms and birds from the porch swing. The porta potties were right next to the cabin and the bathroom with plumbing was an easy walk. The hosts were so kind and accommodating. They were prompt to respond to any requests we had, including switching out towels halfway through our 7-night stay. Would highly recommend again!

Weekend Trip to Sturgis View Campground

I definitely enjoyed it there for nite in playhouse cabin… definitely beautiful view. Went there last min plan… especially walking thru the wilderness area it awesome and see deers n turkeys n even small bobcat… plan go back again. Town of Sturgis is awesome !! Must stop by for all bikers

Weekend Trip to Naked Acres WY

Melissa and Chris were very welcoming & their property is absolutely gorgeous. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing getaway with beautiful scenery & wildlife. The pond was a great added bonus. The cabins were so charming and we didn’t want for anything, as everything was already thought of by the hosts. We will definitely be back and plan on bringing some friends as it’s a must see. Also the drive in was surrounded by wildflowers. Stunning!
