Fantastic little campground. The site is very well maintained and close to an adorable little old American main street style downtown. We also explored the dinosaur tracks state park which is about 20 minutes away. Would definitely stay at this spot again and recommend to others.

Lorina & Isaac were the most gracious hosts. The RV sites are adequate. It was quiet. Check out the TeePees (really cool). to stay in and the Yurt store!

The location was easy to find, Lorina came to say hi and ask if we needed anything when we arrived. She had a 50 to 30 amp converter to lend us which was helpful. Took peaceful walks around the area and enjoyed a good coffee in town before leaving.

Cove Campground

Loved it! New Mexico campgrounds often feel rural, even in the middle of summer! It was a bit hot, but we had shade & were able to soak our feet (and our dog!) in the lake. People were fishing on the lake, and the fish were popping out of the lake. There were owls and frogs/toads too! Do go on the very short hike to see the dino footprints... awesome!
