You won't believe you are still in Kansas! C2T Ranch is a working regenerative cattle ranch, with over 4 miles of Saline River running through it. Amazing 150' tall limestone cliffs rise above river and several spring fed creeks feed into the river. There is hiking galore in the canyons or on the cliffs, fishing in the rivers, or bird watching on the native prairie above the cliffs. Fossil hunters can find a variety of fossilized shells, as well as native septarian and calcite for the rockhounds.
Our picturesque, secluded campground has primitive and powered campsites, plus several glamping tent, all dispersed along an amazing horseshoe bend of the Saline River, each with direct river access. We're only a 20 minute drive north of Hays, Kansas and I-70, come visit us today!

Weekend Trip to C2T Ranch on the Saline River
I know, we should talk about the views and the hospitality (which were amazing), but I want to say that was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on! I was so suprised the bed was so nice! The cinnamon rolls and zucchini bread were perfect! The hosts were kind! The scenery was exactly what we hoped for... the stars were amazing!
We had a nice trail to walk and got to see wonderful fall foliage. It felt safer than sleeping at the lake, which made the trip a lot more relaxing.
I would recommend this camp and plan to return!

The hosts are very responsive and communicate well, and are friendly. The yurt was very comfortable and the scenery is amazing. Definitely recommend, it’s hard to find this kind of beauty in Kansas.

Nice, quiet, private, clean, and we'll thought out layout. Free little firewood bundle in the stone pit were all nice touches. Bread and homemade jam from the host were a nice evening touch with piping hot cinnamon rolls for breakfast well worth the little extra cost. Will 100% come again.

The Glamping Tent we stayed in was so cute and cozy! The views were gorgeous and we hiked to the top of the bluff with the company of the owners dog. The hamburger basket and bread/jam were both very delicious. I would stay here again. The only downside was there wasn’t a shower but you can purchase a solar shower from Walmart and hang it up in the privacy tent they provided.

This experience was wonderful throughout. From having wonderfully helpful hosts to a cozy Yurt, beautiful views and a lovely firepit. We had such a wonderful time, I would definitely recommend it. I may suggest bringing a fan though.

This place was great. As a Black woman traveling alone between Kansas City and Denver I wanted a midway point to stop where I felt safe. This place was great. I got a really warm greeting from Cynthia and Chad was kind enough to bring me a fan. The night sky was gorgeous and the bed was comfortable. I wish I asked about the shower because while I saw the privacy shelter for the solar shower and not the bag with water. There were unclaimed campsites with spigots so I was fine.
I got to see some of the animals and learn about their cattle. I appreciate the intentional moves they are making to stay in flow with the earth, have healthy animals and sustain the land.

This place was an awesome stay for our trip from Ohio to Colorado - we were greeted and escorted by Chad and their little dog, and then their sweet labrador paid us a visit to our tent later that night! The land was beautiful, I wish we could have stayed longer to explore it. We picked up a jar of tasty jam from them on our way out :-) would highly recommend, thank you guys!

I only stayed for one night, a quick stop on a cross-country drive, but the yurt was very comfortable. Chad and Cynthia had it lit up for when I arrived after dark. The restroom was nearby. There is not a working shower tent at the campsite, but I think the listing says you can use theirs at the house. The place was beautiful, if dusty. I would definitely stay again. Thanks!

The Steampunk tiny house was super clean, comfortable, and amazingly decorated. The thought put into the furnishings, lighting, and decorating was amazing. We stayed in the outstanding pink tiny house previously and we will definitely stay at one of Joan's tiny houses next time we pass through Kansas. Close to Hays (and the excellent Gella's diner/brewpub) and the Basilica of St. Fidelis in Victoria.

This spot was beautiful, what a gem! There was plenty of room to roam around, the native prairie and juniper trees were gorgeous. The bed was comfortable, the spot was peaceful, and our dog loved exploring. The hosts went above and beyond, even bringing us silverware when we realized we had forgotten ours! I will stay here again.

Burger basket and cinnamon roll add on was absolutely delicious. Communication was clear and easy as was the welcome. Tent was clean and clean comfy with plenty of room for 4 (parents and kids that are aged 6 and 9). Gorgeous property with fun history to learn about!

Family of 4 from the KC area and wanted to get away to see the stars, and this was the perfect place to do it! I'm not big on camping, but I am big on astronomy, so we rented the two glamping tents on what happened to be on one of the hottest nights, but the accommodations were nice and being able to plug in a fan made all the difference! The porta potty was reasonably clean. The property is beautiful, taking a stroll down by the river and bluffs was so serene. I added on burger & brats and cinnamon rolls and it was all very delicious! Highly recommend these add-ons. Dinner came with all the fixings and we ate it up. I don't know if the pickle slices and relish were home made, but they were super delish too. We could still text and make calls, but teen's insta wouldn't load, so I'd say that's the perfect amount of signal. 😁 Chad was super responsive and very nice. Would definitely rent one of these tents again.

I loved this Hipcamp. I am a big fan of camping, glamping, and the occasional hotel, but this particular road trip I just need something that was peaceful and put together with minimal effort for me on setting up. I loved this and already shared it with friends and family. I Loved the entire vibe, the location, the bed, and all the accommodations. My absolute favorite was the open lighting and the projector which made for a great scary movie night. Only bummer for me was not having my dogs on the bed, but I set them up on the floor with some of my own blankets and they were more than happy. Loved that there was also a full bathroom and kitchen available as well. Next time I’ll just remember popcorn!

This was our second time staying here and it was even better than the first. We've stayed at both a primitive campsite and a glamping tent. The tent is adorable, clean, comfortable, and has solar powered lamps and outlets for phones. The grounds are gorgeous and full of birds. Chad and Cynthia have been wonderful hosts both times. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area.

The tiny house was perfect! I appreciate Joan’s smart design of the home. It was clean and had everything I needed. I also enjoyed the location. Though I was tired from my travels, I did manage to step outside and was in awe of the night sky! Looking forward to my next visit!
