Heritage Hills isn't called Heritage Hills for nothing! It's situated on 21 acres of what was the original Wawonowin Country Club, a 9-hole golf course that was built in the early 1800s and then closed in the mid 1960s. And now we have a beautiful mix of hardwoods and pines, forests and fields with multiplied non-motorized trails accessible right off the property. The very popular RAMBA bike trails are literally an ‘stones throw’ away! Our biggest site, Fairway Field is big enough for group camping that horse campers love, and one site, the Homestead, with an electric hookup. We don’t have a dump station or trash cans so please pack in and pack out. Phone signal is good throughout the area and we are close to civilization for necessities and only 20 minutes from Marquette. So much stuff to do in this area!

The Greens

RV/tent site · Sleeps 8 · Vehicles under 40 ft
Pitch your tent, camper, or RV on what used to be The Greens of hole 1, when this was the Wawonowin golf course. You'll enjoy ample space for parking a big rig on the grass - pull in and pull out - or for a portable horse or pen, but still have assess to wooded areas for shade and privacy. This spot has a fire ring and a picnic table, and trees for a high line for horses. The port-a-pottie is only a short walk.

Fairway Field

RV/tent site · Sleeps 10 · Vehicles under 45 ft
Fairway Field is a large roomy sight with lots of grass on the edge of a forest area, so there's lots of shade too. There's a beautiful view of the main field, and a large tree covered bluff. Lots of deer and other wildlife are often spotted here!! It has a fire pit, picnic table and it's very close to a port-a-potty. This is a popular site for those with horses; lots of room for a portable corral and nice of trees to high-line them in the shade!

RV/tent site · Sleeps 6 · Vehicles under 20 ft
Pitch your tent, or small camper on what used to be the Hole-1 Fairway of the old Wawonowin golf course. This is one of our smaller spots nicely tucked in the trees and very close to the trail and the port-a-pottie, it has a firepit and a picnic table! And is very private!

The Homestead, close to the barn

99%

Vehicle site · Sleeps 4 · Vehicles under 37 ft
Set up your camper, RV or tent in this shady spot on the grass that is closest to the main barn and paddocks where our horses live! You'll have an electric hook up and be close to a port-a-pottie, water, and the bigger communal fire pit.  You'll have your own fire pit too, and a picnic table. It’s a smaller site not ideal for a big group.
