For your Glamping and RV'ing Pleasure; The Landing at Lake Ploenta, a private, gated, resort-style destination, is offering lake-side safari tents and short-term RV spots. Each Tent rental includes a queen-sized bed, extra pop-up tent for the kids, fire pit, picnic table, and 2 adirondack deck chairs! Each RV site includes hookups, picnic tables, and drive through lot setup. Adjacent to the site is a lake with ducks, geese, bass, frogs, cattails, lily pads, and lots of ducklings and goslings in the springtime. The property is set in a beautiful forest-setting filled with ferns, vine maples, deer, & mossy green colors. Bring your fishing gear, and binoculars. Enjoy! Property Rules * Respect the land and tent as you would your own. * Don’t leave out food that could attract wildlife * Be mindful of any local fire bans and quiet hours * Keep valuables on you or secured in your vehicle Respect & Safety Don't carve your name into anything, or cut down trees. A main queen size bed and a 2nd fold away twin sized bed, wood-burning stove, water cooler, outdoor firepit, and BBQ grill (you'll need to bring your own briquettes). Each Tent is built on a raised platform with Adirondack chairs and picnic table. There is one portapot shared between both tents with motion sensor light and sink with running cold water. Dragonfly Yurt

This is a brand new Yurt erected in the 2024 season. You will enjoy a Queen Bed on ground floor (sleeps 2), pull out Sofa Bed in the loft (sleeps 2), and an extra cot (sleeps 1). The Yurt is erected on a raised wooden platform, has a meadow view in a private forest setting, and is approx 380 sq ft of floor space. It comes equipped with a small kitchen including refrigerator, hot plate, tea kettle, dishes, utensils, and wifi. There are a few chairs for relaxing, it is a short distance to walk around lovely Lake Ploenta, and you can also hike the trails on the back forty acres. There is a sink and shower for washing, and although water pressure is on lower end, the shower is hot! Bathroom is in a portapot 20 steps away. Whether you're seeking Long walks on the peaceful manicured trails in the woods or Fishing, Bird Watching, Paddle Boating, BBQ-ing, Riding your horses, or just getting away from it all! We've got something for everyone. Horse and Pet Friendly. ADA accessible. Sleeping Arrangements: The cabin sleeps 7 comfortably, so you can bring the whole family or share the experience with friends. The Space: The Cabin is as a 3-bedroom, 1.5 bathroom guesthouse on 60 wooded acres. The main residence is nearby and is inhabited by the hostess and her family. So we are here if you ever need a thing! Water: The well water is treated and very good to drink and shower, although sometimes a bit of a well water odor. Guest access: The property is gated and will provide a gate code prior to your arrival. The entire property short of the shop/ maintenance area is open to our guests. The lake, the kayaks, the horse stables, the trails, the woods, basically everywhere on the grounds! Rate: The cost is at the calendar rate up to 7 guests. Pet Fee is $75.00 up to 2 dogs. Horse Fee is $25.00 per night up to 2 horses in Corral - Your feed. Our feed= $10.00 per day per horse. Other activities on the property: This is an active recreational property where we host wedding events, RV spots, and Glamping tent sites. It is generally low-key and peaceful, though. New for 2024: Painting throughout the Baan Rai cabin, brand new sofa couch in living room, all new bedding, and white glove focus on cleanliness throughout!

The Honeybee Yurt offers a glamping experience with ~340 sq ft of floor space on a raised wooden platform and a Bay window with curtains. The Yurt sleeps 3 and offers a Queen bed, extra twin size cot, and fresh bedding. You can also bring your own blankets and sleeping bag if you have your favorites. We had a really wonderful stay here! The tent, linens, and bed were all very comfortable and clean. The site is at a corner of the property that feels private and quiet, plus it's right next to one of the trails. It was lovely walking the property and through the well marked trails in the woods, and the host was so friendly when we crossed paths. We definitely want to come back!

Natural beauty, we loved walking around the lake and the ducks are fun to watch! I did notice that the larger tree’s between the sites in some of the pictures had been replaced with new trees so there is not much privacy between the A sites and there is very little room to spend any time outside at the site. We didn’t have an issue since there was nobody next to us but if there had been I can see it would be very tight quarters. We definitely enjoyed our quiet weekend away.

Baan Rai Cabin
There are not enough good things I could ever say about our cabin stay. First off, the day of our trip, Mimi sent very clear instructions on how to get to the cabin. The cabin itself….wow. It is clean, maintained, and it shows how much Mimi and her family love it. The property….so many trails around the 40 acres, complete even with a waterfall! We were pleasantly surprised by how big it was. Fall colors were popping, ducks swam on the pond and ran to greet us, a family of deer roamed around, and there was a small beaver damn near the lake. (No one was home in it though.) My friend and I will definitely be back.

Our family had a lovely time glamping in the Fern Gully #1 tent. The tent was clean and comfy and as advertised. We especially enjoyed the free use of the kayaks, paddleboat, and other small boats on the small lake! Our tweens had a great time kayaking around and to the various living stumps and trees in the water. It felt very private, secluded. The firewood I had preordered was ready for us nice and dry on arrival. The kids also enjoyed the ducks occasionally waddling past the campsite. It was also nice that the portapotty was pink and lit up at night. Note: Unfortunately the inside woodstove wasn't usable, probably because it needs cleaning or the pipe needs cleaning. There just wasn't a good draft, no matter how open we adjusted the damper, the smoke just went into the room and out the small damper screw hole and not up the pipe. That was fine as we were not expecting heat anyway while tent camping. Highly recommended!

Dragonfly Yurt
We loved our visit to the Dragonfly yurt! Looks even better in person than in photos. Comfortable bed for us, and our son loved the loft area and rainbow lights. Lovely quiet setting and close to lots of fun activities. Would love to return!

Our family rented both tents in October and it was perfect! Because it was so cold, we had a fire going for most of the day and night. When we needed more, there was firewood available to purchase! We even used the tent stoves which kept our tents nice and cozy and night. The amenities provided were amazing. We also really enjoyed using the lake for fishing and enjoyed visits from the local ducks to our campsite. Lots of nice privacy.

Cool place. Gorgeous, well-marked (thank you 😅) trails right next to the parking spaces. Good instructions for arrival. The Alley Bar and Grill in Arlington was a cute little bowling alley/restaurant with excellent pizza.

The Landing at Lake Polenta is such a beautiful property! There is tons of space to explore, and the hosts are lovely - I would love to visit again. I loved the winding trails all throughout the property, watching the ducks on the lake and catching a glimpse of the resident deer family. I heard you can even spot a beaver if you're lucky!

Our stay in the glamping tent was amazing! Besides the firewood being a bit wet from being left out in the rain everything else was neat, cozy, and functional. The toilet was clean and close by. The little lake and what we saw of the property is beautiful. It was just us for the night so we didn’t see any other humans which was a wonderful break. We will definitely be back in the future for longer than 1 night and hopefully bring other friends to stay as well! Looking forward to it!

Peaceful stay with young kids

We had a peaceful stay at Lake Ploenta over the Labor Day weekend. Adults liked how easy it was to back in and set up, that you have laundry and dump stations onsite if needed, and that the lake is a short walk from the RV sites. Our young daughter particularly loved feeding the ducks, searching for bullfrogs, and watching the dragon flies. The only downside was the night lights were a bit bright which I understand for safety sake but we don’t have blackout blinds on all RV windows. Everything else was great and the host was welcoming and helpful.

We loved staying in the walled tent (Fern Gully #2)! The bed was comfortable, the deck and adirondack chairs were great to relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. The property is beautiful and so eclectic - trails, shared fire pit, lake for fishing, and the resident ducks are sweet.

Great spot for a couple of quiet nights. We got seriously unlucky with the weather (it’s August! Wasn’t expecting the torrential rain!) but the facilities at The Landing meant we were comfortable and could enjoy our time in the Arlington area. Don’t miss the trip out to the Big Four Ice Caves!

Ploenta Lake and the Dragonfly yurt were very relaxing and comfortable. We enjoyed all aspects of our stay from the Yurt itself to the surrounding peaceful / tranquil environment to the hiking trails and the amazing wildlife. We enjoyed walking up to and almost within arms reach of several very calm / tame deer.

Amazing hidden gem not too far from Seattle! Plenty of space in the tent and nice grassy land nearby for tents. She offers access to water vessels (paddle board, kayak and pedalboat). There are nearby trails to hike! The animals around the property were fun for my kiddos to see!

We absolutely loved staying at Fern Gully (: This is our second year, they views are beautiful, it's extremely peaceful and my family and friends loved the serenity! Our host was amazing making sure we had extra blankets and pillows. The tent and campground was very clean and inviting. Although there is some construction going on in other parts of the campground we never seen or heard any kind of work going on. I tell all my family and friends if you want or need a place to relax and just enjoy beautiful nature then this is the place to go. I have been enjoying the outdoors every summer since I was a child with my family and have seen lots of different campgrounds and this one is as good if not better than most. They offer so much more than just camp spots and R.V hookups. We have come to love this area and look forward to going back next year (:

This was our first glamping trip! The yurt was luxurious and cozy. The property is peaceful with lots of fresh air and good vibes. The perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of our city lives. We highly recommend Hipcamp, we will be back! Crystal excellent host. Thank you so much.

Lovely property. Was a bit louder of a homestead experience with chickens, roosters and dogs we could hear but otherwise very peaceful. The fire pit and benches were great. Bed could be comfier but overall a good stop!

Great location with great surroundings. Hosts were friendly and responsive. The property has trails that also lead to an open field with the owners horses. Super friendly horses. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Lake Ploenta! We camped with friends who were in an adjacent site and our 3 year old kiddos loved exploring the trails, the lake, and meeting the friendly horses. The sites were clean and level and the water /power hookups were in great shape. Our sites did not drain to sewer but they have a dump station on site, which was handy. We also had a blast exploring Arlington. We went blueberry picking at Valentina’s, did the farmers market, and explored around town - we loved the antique shops and Arlington Hardware is not to be missed. Would definitely recommend as a great place to stay.

The tent is cute and well set up, we stayed warm and dry. The owner was very responsive to my questions while booking and during our 2-day stay however, it was difficult to communicate after we arrived since there was no cell phone reception (it's a remote location) and the wifi worked only the first day for a short time. My suggestion is if you are staying in the glamping tents to bring your own bedding. There is no electricity so be sure to provide lighting/batteries too.

Beautiful and comfy
Fern Gully Site 2, "Boho Country"
I stayed here with a couple friends to celebrate my birthday and we loved it! The tent was cozy and comfortable, the porta-potty nearby was nice and clean. It was fun exploring the trails and relaxing by the pretty lake. We will definitely stay again in the future!
