Such a convenient location, not far from town at all. The outhouse was very well maintained, and there was a water source on site. Thank you!

Great campsite for seeing the north side of Olympic national park! The location was close to multiple entry points and not too far from cape flattery if you have an extra afternoon while staying. The site was easy to find and felt very private.

Good and flat tent spots with a nice view of the mountains. The potable water was easily accessible and the tree cover at site 1 was great to have. Has a picnic table and chairs too!

My partner and I drove to this campsite from Portland and were taking the ferry in Port Angeles to Victoria the next morning. Phil was very nice over the phone and keeps the sites very nice (: We weren't there very long but we would definitely stay again. As you are near a road, you do hear the traffic but it's not too much and you can wear earplugs at night if you need.

We stayed at Camp 3 last night and I highly recommend this place! The setting is a really pretty field flanked by apple trees, pines cottonwood and rolling, forested hills.
There is a barn on the hill that houses a horse and a goat and you can hear roosters doodling in the morning. My husband and I had the place to ourselves, it was raining pretty hard but we set our tent up under the big pine in camp 3 and stayed relatively dry under it's canopy. Ranger camp would likely be considered "rustic" by some folks but there is an outhouse, water source and garbage cans (we packed out our garbage) on site. The only downside to this beautiful place is that it is very noisy due to the road being so close. I would definitely stay here again but I will remember my earplugs! It was a peaceful, pleasant stay.

Site 3 - Ranger Creek Campground
Phil's campsite was great! The property was easy to find, and Site #3 was perfect for our family of 4. Even though there was a fire ban during our visit, we enjoyed sitting around the "campfire" each night. The table, chairs and provided trash can were all wonderful surprises. Our kids loved playing hide and seek, and even climbing the big tree in site #3.
As others have stated, these sites are right next to the highway and there is limited privacy as all the campsites are connected and only separated by tall grass (with the exception of site #4 which is the first site you pass when you enter). Also of note, this is farmland, so be prepared to hear animals. We enjoyed this, but others may not (think: cawing roosters and bleeting goats). Overall, we would stay here again and would recommend. It's very convenient to ONP (which was the purpose of our trip) and also to Port Angeles if you need to get into a city (*highly* recommend Blackbird Coffee Shop in town).

Wonderful spot just outside of Port Angeles. We stayed in the overflow spot which was close to the road so a bit noisy. But it was a spot to rest our heads. Nice privy and access to water.

We stayed in site 2. It was a nice place to camp. Very spacious site with a table and plenty of room to pitch a tent. Everything was kept very clean. You can hear the road but it still was peaceful. The host was very nice to talk to but also gave us privacy.

This was a great spot and we loved spending the night here. Phil came out to meet us and shared some cool places to visit and see the water & sunset. It had trash cans, water and a bathroom all available along with a couple horseshoe pits. It is important to note that the spots are all in a fairly open field with not much in the way of privacy, and the road noise was definitely noticeable well into the evening and night. All in all it was a really good spot and we had a great time

Great spot, close to OAT trailhead which was my reason for going. Clean facilities, spacious campsites with grill/camp seats and fire ring standard. Would be back for more exploring for sure. Thanks Phil!

I enjoyed camping here. The campground was very clean and the individual sites were huge. Each site had a large fire pit and a large barbecue grill. There were also chairs and a table. Although it’s near a busy road the traffic noise wasn’t bad. I will certainly camp here again!

Found this on Google maps looking for a campsite for the night in our way through. Easy to get to. The bathroom was beautiful and well stocked. Thank you for the space for the night! It is close to the road but I have a fan and earplugs and wasn’t bothered. There was a garbage can, chairs and a sturdy table we made use of as well. We’d stay here again!

It was easy to find, serene, and very convenient. We had easy access to Port Angeles and there were no mosquitos to deal with which was a huge plus.

Absolutely loved camping on Phil’s land. Site #3 was incredibly spacious and flat. All of the sites have pretty good size. This will be the site that I look for any time I’m in the area!

We really enjoyed our stay in campsite 1. The site is the largest and furthest from the road. It has lots of space, and plenty of flat ground to set up tents. The site had a nice fire pit, weber barbeque grill, table, and a couple of camp chairs. The potable
water and outhouse were nearby. The location was centrally located for the activities we were doing in the area. The other 3 sites are far away so we felt like we had plenty of privacy. Even with the road noise, it felt peaceful and chill. Phil was super responsive to my questions.
