Near Shenandoah National Park

Within a 30-minute drive from the Rockfish(South).

This property has many guest cottages all over it but only 1 RV spot! Enjoy relaxing in your RV by a picnic table and chairs. Not much room but a good spot to park and be close to wineries/breweries. No dogs please.This campsite is small and perfect to fit one 26 ft motor home or a 19ft trailer. long or less. It involves having to back up in order to get out. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A SPOT TO PARK YOUR RV, it does not come with an RV to stay in. The picture with the RV is just to show the size of the spot. When you arrive it will be an empty spot where you can park your own RV. There is a way to connect to water and electric and internet is available as well. There is a very small grass patch with a picnic table available for the RV site to use and really that is all because there are guest cottages all around this spot. So if you are looking for a great location to park your RV, relax at a picnic table and then go out and explore the Afton/Nelson County area then this is perfect. If you have an RV trailer that you pull behind a truck you will have to disconnect and park the truck to the side in order to fit. So in short please realize this is a tight spot. The property has other small guest cottages on it so you may see other guests. There are small houses and a chicken coop all around the area where the RV will be parked, so I would not describe this spot as super private but it is safe and just what you need to park and relax for a night before leaving to explore the area.The site is just a few seconds from Blue Mountain Brewery, Valley Road Vineyard and Flying Fox Vineyard. It is about 3 minutes to Veritas Vineyard and Cardinal Point Vineyard. About 6 minutes to Afton Mountain Vineyard, Silverback Distillery and Brewing Tree Brewery.

Parking Spot on Wine/Brew Trail

Lovely, out of the way property. This was a safe place to park overnight near Charlottesville and perhaps visit numerous wineries.

A great overnight parking spot to explore the local area. Close in proximity to the Rockfish Gap entrance at Shenandoah National Park.
